Fashionincolor; ExpressingOneself

We all know what it means with the saying “what goes around comes back around.” Well, the same goes for fashion! It makes fashion a lot more fun to play around with as well as creating an outfit of yours and making it unique, cool, one to stand out.

Fashion has become that main factor in how to express oneself. The first thing most people notice when seeing you is what you’re rocking and ready to take on the day with. It’s an instant mood booster that never seems to get old.

TheImportanceofIndividualityinFashion

The importance of individuality lies in the ability to help anybody stand out from the crowd while still feeling comfortable and secure in what they choose to wear. Individuality in fashion also serves as a creative outlet that helps people explore different sides of themselves they may not have had the opportunity or courage to do otherwise.

The individuality in fashion also serves more as a creative outlet for people to explore different sides of themselves they may not have had the opportunity or courage to do otherwise 5 or even 10 years ago. Especially when it comes to trying different clothing in color, showing who you really are!

Favorite types of fashion of mine, from the 70s to early 90s, fashion shows as one to express in color. Without color in clothing it can make fashion itself in a way kind of boring. But with so many different styles throughout the decades. anything that was considered high of trend back in the day is the same way, today!

Newbury St. in Boston, MA holds some of the most luxurious and fashionable stores and brands. It makes perfect sense that all its inhabitants are dressed just as fabulous in the latest fashions and trends. I have worked at Concepts Intl. as a sales associate for the last seven months and I have become inspired by the various customers who are always dressed to the nines and give me a reason to dress up for my job. My coworkers Gabriella Ilebode and Tati Santos decided that these fits were too good not to be documented and created the Instagram @cafe2fits. Made as a style archive, the account showcases both customers and employees best fits and creates a community of fashion enthusiasts that walk the streets of Boston.

My upstairs neighbor is canceled Loud annoying awake at unholy hours and she has an infuriating walking treadmill desk so I always hear her stomping during working hours To top it off my umbrella mysteriously vanished from its usual spot on my doormat last week and I strongly suspect her involvement

Do you know who else is canceled? Well, a lot of people actually It feels like every day there is a new celebrity or social media influencer who has been canceled It's hard to keep up The internet is so quick to jump to canceling people, it's almost like a hobby With each passing day, it seems like the things people are being canceled for are becoming dumber and dumber

This got me thinking How is it that we are so quick to cancel influencers and celebrities? Are we just envious of their wealthy lifestyle and seemingly "easy" job? Are we as a society so stupid that we are willing to follow a crowd of cancellers before using critical thinking?

But what really got me thinking was how society is so excited to cancel a social media star but not people who have actually done harmful things in places of power People don't want to get involved with politics until TikTok might get banned, but heaven forbid they get involved when human rights are on the line

“PEOPLEDON'T WANTTOGET INVOLVED WITHPOLITICS UNTILTIKTOK MIGHTGET BANNED.”
“RELUCTANCE TOHOLD POLITICIANS ACCOUNTABLE PERPETUATES ACULTUREOF IMPUNITY”

Politicians often wielding significant power frequently engage in behavior that would provoke widespread condemnation if committed by public figures from other spheres Despite this there's a collective inertia when it comes to addressing misconduct within the political realm This reluctance to hold politicians accountable perpetuates a culture of impunity eroding trust in our institutions and undermining democracy's foundations

One might question if politicians don't face the same level of "cancellation" or condemnation on a large scale because they operate largely outside the realm of social media While influencers and celebrities are subject to the constant judgments of online social media followers, politicians often navigate a different landscape, where their actions are scrutinized through traditional media outlets This dichotomy raises concerns about the effectiveness and fairness of our current systems of accountability highlighting the need for a more comprehensive approach to holding individuals in positions of power to appropriate standards of conduct, regardless of their platform or prominence in the public eye

So next time you are about to "cancel" someone consider who should actually be receiving that "cancellation" Remember, voting out politicians isn't just a constitutional right, it's like hitting the "unfollow" button on bad governance Because let's face it a few strategically placed ballots can do wonders for your political feed

Marilyn’s application of the law of attraction When she started as a preteen, she didn't name her practices, but they corresponded with the law The Law of Attraction is the New Thought spiritual belief that positive or negative thoughts bring positive or negative experiences into a person's life Lao Tzu, an ancient Chinese philosopher, once said: "Watch your thoughts, they become your words; watch your words, they become your actions; watch your actions, they become your habits; watch your habits, they become your character; watch your character, it becomes your destiny " Manifestation is the method that occurs when ideas, beliefs, and actions bring something into existence. It is based on the concept that one can channel their aspirations into reality by focusing their thoughts, energies, and intentions toward their goals. Throughout her life, Marilyn Monroe exhibited characteristics and behaviors that are compatible with the manifestation principles. Marilyn Monroe's devotion to the Law of Attraction is responsible for her success, fame, and adoration. She firmly believed in the benefits of positive thinking and how it affected her work. By comprehending Marilyn Monroe's journey to manifestation, we may gain inspiration and apply similar concepts to our own lives.

Monroe was an expert at applying visualization, one of the Law of Attraction's strongest tools, to bring her aspirations to reality. Whether it was acting in films or performing on stage, she would have vivid visions of herself accomplishing her dreams She visualized her dreams in great detail, bringing them to life before they did Marilyn once wrote in her memoir, “I daydreamed chiefly about beauty I dreamed of myself becoming so beautiful that people would turn to look at me when I passed ” She's demonstrated the positive effects of affirmations with just a few sentences Marilyn Monroe's manifesting journey was greatly aided by affirmations Positive declarations are called affirmations, and they are used repeatedly to support a desired belief or result Monroe would frequently repeat affirmations to herself in an attempt to rewire her subconscious and align her desires with her thinking. She would repeat things like “I am talented and deserving of success,” “I am a magnet for abundance,” and “I am loved and cherished ” among other affirmations She was able to attract the experiences she wanted and alter her self-perception thanks to these affirmations They gave her more self-assurance and, by bringing her thoughts and feelings into alignment with her ideal world

Audiences were drawn to her because of the radiant and captivating persona, she projected of herself. In her manifestation journey, this alignment with her ideal self-image was crucial. By projecting the qualities, she wanted to be known for success, love, and fame Marilyn Monroe drew attention and chances that advanced her career.

Every time Marilyn was pictured or portrayed on TV, she gave the best display of body language She was cast in a number of roles, and she was flawless in them all: dumb-blonde showgirl, seductive bombshell, and, innocent young woman. She was the embodiment of the ideal lady of her era. No other actress could ever match her elegant motions, and no other lady ever possessed such grace when it came to moving on television Her movements were entirely organic, ranging from a straightforward hand wave to a full body graceful turns. Her unique facial expressions, such as the way she moistened her lips to entice a millionaire, the way her eyebrows shot up in amazement and excitement, the way her eyes would light up when she saw a diamond, and the way she could smile with a smile that invited a thousand invitations, were all the unseen components that turned her into the most adored female icon of the of the century.

Monroe practiced her body language and facial expressions meticulously in front of the mirror for hours during the start of her career. She searched for and discovered the ideal image that everyone admired and continues to adore. The captivating stare was utilized by Marilyn Monroe. Also known as "bedroom eyes," these eyes have a tremendous potential for seduction and are frequently used by women This stare has the following features: parted lips, lifted eyebrows, lowered eyelids, and upward-facing gaze. When used correctly, particularly by women, it can convey a seductive, playful, mysterious, and secretive vibe Marilyn Monroe was well-known for having seductive, beautiful eyes To highlight the space between them and the eyelids, she even sculpted her eyebrows into a small arch However, there are drawbacks to this gaze. If performed incorrectly, it might be mistaken for a drowsy or fatigued face because it appears as though you're ready to close your eyes and go to sleep. Pay close attention to your breathing, posture, and body language especially if you're feeling anxious Maintaining a straight, upright stance with your shoulders back can make you appear more confident within and project that confidence to others.

Milton Greene, Marilyn Monroes personal photographer’s wife shares a vital story to her famous persona He states, “I’ll never forget the day Marilyn and I were walking around New York City, just having a stroll on a nice day. She loved New York because no one bothered her there like they did in Hollywood, she could put on her plain-Jane clothes and no one would notice her She loved that So, as we we’re walking down Broadway, she turns to me and says, ‘Do you want to see me become her?’ I didn’t know what she meant but I just said ‘Yes’ and then I saw it. I don’t know how to explain what she did because it was so very subtle, but she turned something on within herself that was almost like magic. And suddenly cars were slowing, and people were turning their heads and stopping to stare They were recognizing that this was Marilyn Monroe as if she pulled off a mask or something, even though a second ago nobody noticed her. I had never seen anything like it before.”

“Ifeelthatbeautyandfemininityareagelessandcan'tbe contrived,andglamour,althoughthemanufacturerswon'tlike this,cannotbemanufactured.Notrealglamour;it'sbasedon femininity.”

This anecdote shared by Milton Greene's wife offers a fascinating glimpse into Marilyn Monroe's complex relationship with her public persona. It underscores Monroe's ability to transform herself at will, transitioning from anonymity to instant recognition with a seemingly effortless switch Monroe's remark, "Do you want to see me become her?" suggests a deliberate awareness of her dual identity: the private Norma Jeane Mortenson and the public Marilyn Monroe. The fact that she felt the need to "become" her public persona implies a conscious performance, perhaps reflecting the pressure of maintaining her iconic image.

Overall, this story provides a poignant insight into Monroe's complex relationship with fame, her mastery of persona, and the price she paid for her iconic status It humanizes her in a way that transcends the glamour of her image, revealing the vulnerability and artistry behind the legend.

To conclude, the "Marilyn Monroe Effect" encapsulates far more than just physical attributes; it embodies a multifaceted essence that continues to captivate generations. Marilyn Monroe's enduring legacy extends beyond her iconic appearance, encompassing her innate confidence, feminine charm, and timeless allure. Her ability to effortlessly embody these qualities on and off-screen not only secured her status as a Hollywood icon but also left an indelible mark on popular culture. Through her enduring appeal, Monroe reminds us that true beauty emerges from within The "Marilyn Monroe Effect" serves as a timeless reminder of the power of embracing one's unique qualities and embracing confidence in all its forms.
