PROJECT UPDATES

Downtown Blues

Rehoboth Beach, DE

Congratulations to the Bethany Blues Team on opening their new location in Downtown Rehoboth! Fisher Architecture led the design in transforming their third location in an iconic historic building of Downtown Rehoboth. The project included a full interior and facade renovation. The new kitchen layout included equipment upgrades and new hood design suitable for wood-fired smoking appliances as well as an expanded dish room and prep area. The dining room design features new booth seating and a bar area with high-top seating.

Marina Landing

Salisbury, MD

Big things are finally underway for the redevelopment of the Port of Salisbury Marina! Site work and demolition have begun to make way for the development of the new Marina Landing Complex. The finished project will consist of three mixed-use buildings, which include three new apartment buildings, commercial tenant space, and an outdoor courtyard! The project is projected to take 1824 months. Stay tuned for more updates as the project progresses!

MEET THE NEW FACES

With over twenty years of accounting experience within the poultry and agriculture business, Matt Sandt joins the Fisher team as the Chief Financial Officer. Sandt will play an essential role in overseeing and managing all aspects of the accounting and finance operations within Fisher Architecture. He will work alongside the Fisher Architecture’s leadership team with long-term planning processes to set the firm up for success.

Katelyn Nagler joins Fisher Architecture’s Marketing Department and has over 4 years of experience in architecture and engineering industry on the Eastern Shore. Katelyn is a graduate of Salisbury University with a Bachelor of Science in Marketing and will be spearheading Fisher Architecture’s marketing and business development efforts as the firm continues to grow and expand its project portfolio.

Savanna Haas, a native of Pennsylvania comes to the Eastern Shore as Fisher Architecture’s newest Architectural Designer. She is a recent graduate from Penn State University with a Bachelor of Architecture and a minor in architectural history. Savanna will be utilzing her expertise in revit to help the team develop and design a wide range of projects including amenity buildings, multi-family and single-family residential developments. and so much more!

Our team recently welcomed Interior Designer, Brianna Hampton to the team. She comes in with over three years of interior design experience, designing floor plans, elevations and 3-D perspective views and material boards for presentation for clients. Brianna has a plethora of knowledge and experience leading the interior design for commercial, single and multi-family residential projects from conceptual through construction. We look forward to seeing her growing and developing her relationships with clients and vendors across the Peninsula!

Best of Coastal Style

We are proud to announce that Keith Fisher was recognized as Best Architect in Wicomico County in Coastal Style’s Magazine’s Best of 2023! Fisher Architecture continues to be blown away by the outpouring of support by everyone in the community that has supported Keith throughout the years! This year marks the 5th consecutive year that Keith has been recognized in the “Best Architect” category! On behalf of Keith and his team, we would like to thank you for your unwavering support!

Fisher Project Tour

Once a year, the team loads up into a bus to take our annual project tour that often takes us from Salisbury to the beach. Our team was able to tour three on-going projects including the new Cambria Hotel in Rehoboth, Delaware; Harrison Group Office in Ocean City, MD and Ocean Aisle in Salisbury, MD. This gave our entire team – new and old, the opportunity to learn and see projects from the past and present!

2023 Summer Interns

This summer we welcomed architectural interns, Matt Mariano and Drew Kollmar. Matt is currently a senior at University of Maryland College Park pursuing his Bachelor of Science in Architecture. For a second consecutive summer, Matt has been able to work on a little bit of everything from schematic design to construction administration for some of our commerical and residential projects. Drew is in his 4th year of a 6 year program pursing a Bachelor of Architecture with a minor in Construction Management from Drexal University. In the future, Drew hopes to start a career in project management and architectural projects catered towards sports facilities.
