“Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” ~ Galatians 6:9 ~

PASTORAL STAFF

I’ve been thinking about running lately. I once was a marathon runner. In fact, have completed seven of them along with that many half-marathons. I’m not bragging, I’m just wanting to do some more.

Terrell Eldreth, Senior Pastor

To clear-up a misnomer — when I say that I was once a marathon “runner” — what I actually mean is that I was a marathon “plodder”. I was definitely a middle-of-the-pack finisher. I did fairly well in my age group, but I never even saw the elite racers of the pack. The medal ceremony was long over and they were back at their hotels by the time I crossed the finish line!

Albert Einstein once said about his accomplishments:

Phone: 928-772-7218

“It’s not that I'm so smart, it’s just that I stay with problems longer.”

We tend to attribute Einstein’s greatness to his genius. He attributed it to his persistence.

SUNDAY SCHEDULE

Missionary and social reformer William Carey said something similar.

• Sunday School for all ages 9:00 AM

“I can plod. I can persevere in any definite pursuit. To this I owe everything.” Like Einstein, Carey attributed his accomplishments not to his own brilliance, but to simple persistence. continued ...

• Morning Worship Service 10:30 AM • Kidz 4 Christ during Morning Worship • Evening Worship Service
