Overthepasteightyears,FirstinFamily(FIF)hasexperiencedremarkablegrowth,andweareexcitedtoshareourprogress withyou Ourmissiontosupportfirst-generationcollegestudentsintheiracademicandcareersuccessistransforminglivesin powerfulways.
In2024,wecelebrated49scholars,including4newcollegegraduates Withan82%graduationratewithinsixyears,our scholarsarefarexceedingnationalaverages.Our8graduatesaresecuringmeaningfulwork,leveragingtheiracademicand professionalnetworks,andincreasingtheirearningpotential,ensuringupwardmobilityforthemselvesandtheirfamilies
Thisyear,weintroducednewinitiativestofurthersupportourscholars Wepartneredwithatestprepprogramandhostedour firstcollegeapplicationworkshopthatwasopentothepublic Ourhighschoolseniorshavesuccessfullysubmittedcollege andfinancialaidapplications,whileourcollegestudentsareactivelyengagedoncampusesnationwide.They’vecompleted financialliteracycoursesandinternshipstoprepareforlifeaftergraduation Overwinterbreak,weofferedcareerworkshops forcollegejuniorsandseniorsfocusedonfindingopportunities,networking,applying,interviewing,andnegotiatingoffers
