According to sources, influential individuals were running from pillar to post to save both the young officials. It is said that the relatives of both officers are big business magnates and politically affluent individuals. For two days, these ‘powerful’ individuals engaged in outright lobbying and power-pull to save these officials, but Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot’s commitment to ‘rule of law’ and zero tolerance for such actions, ensured that the duo were suspended.
