Gehlot on Tuesday, inspected the old building of Zanana Hospital in Maharana Bhupal Hospital premises in Udaipur.

He discussed with the officials regarding its renovation and gave important guidelines.

The Chief Minister discussed with the officials of the Public Works Department regarding the present condition of the damaged old building of the hospital built in the year 1956 and the future action plan. During this, District Collector Tarachand Meena and PWD Superintending Engineer Ashok Sharma gave technical information regarding the proposed building and facilities.

Gehlot said that Rs 30 crore has been sanctioned by the State government for the construction of the building. More funds will be approved if needed, he said and directed to complete quality and time-bound work.

State govt approves special task force for road safety

GEHLOT GIVES RELAXATION IN 56 CASES OF THE ALLOCATION OF RATION SHOPS IN RAJ

Important steps have been taken by the state government in direction of effectively curbing road accidents in Raj.

CM Ashok Gehlot has given approval for the formation of road safety task force at the district level, involving officers of various departments. The Transport and Road Safety Department will be the administrative department of the District Road Safety Task Force. A task force will be constituted under the chairmanship of District Collector of concerned district. In this, DSP, CEO of Zila Parishad, CMHO, Commissioner of Urban Body of District HQs, Superintending Engineer of PWD etc. will be the members.

Taking a sensitive decision, CM Ashok Gehlot has given relaxation in 56 cases of allocation of fair price shops on compassionate grounds. This decision of Gehlot will give strength to dependents of the deceased ration dealers. The CM has given relaxation in cases of death of dealer above 60 yrs of age, educational qualification & delay in application period. With this decision, it will be possible to allot fair price shops to dependent families on a compassionate grounds. It will be easier for them to earn their livelihood.

NOD TO CONSTITUTE THE MAHARANA PRATAP BOARD

Veer Shiromani Maharana Pratap Board will be formed to spread the message of Maharana Pratap’s commitment, patriotism, charity, public service and devotion to duty. In this regard, CM Gehlot approved the proposal for the formation of the board. The board will have a Chairman, ViceChairman and 7 other members. The Board will have separate Secretary and Executive staff.

`6 CR FOR FACILITIES

AT 600 NEW VET SUB CENTRES IN STATE

Basic facilities will be developed in 600 newly created veterinary subcentres of the State. CM Gehlot has approved an additional provision of Rs 6 crore for the facilities. Equipment and furniture will be made available in Veterinary Sub-Centres with this amount. Rs 50,000 for equipment and Rs 50,000 for furniture have been sanctioned per Sub-Centre.

Notably, the Chief Minister held a public hearing at Udaipur Circuit House in the morning. After listening to the complaints of masses, he took factual information from administrative & departmental officers & directed for quick disposal. Gehlot said that the work of public relief is our top priority. “Officers should be dedicated to ensure that every person’s problem is properly resolved and quick relief is provided,” he said.
