Arjun Ram Meghwal hands out appointment letters to 88 youths

Ajmer

A job fair was organized at Jawahar Theater in Ajmer on Tuesday. Union Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal was the chief guest of the programme. Meghwal gave appointment letters to 88 youths and government jobs.

On the Enforcement Directorate (ED) raids in the state in last few days, Minister Meghwal said that where there is corruption, there will be ED.

On the controversial statement regarding the film ‘Ajmer 92’, he said that such statements (by Sarwar Chisthy) do not suit a civilized society.

“We condemn it and demand action but the state government is busy saving its chair,” he said.

Upon being questioned about the letter written by the Deputy Mayor of Ajmer to the Women’s Commission, Union Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal hit out at the government saying that it is busy in the policy of appeasement.

APPOINTMENTS MADE TRANSPARENT: SHEKHAWAT

Union Jal Shakti Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, while addressing a programme at the job fair in Jodhpur on Tuesday, said that the Modi government at Centre has worked to bring transparency in appointments. Work has been done to make the recruitment process simple and transparent. This is the reason that now the youth do not have to go round the officers and leaders for recommendation in jobs. Shekhawat said that the Modi government is giving appointment letters to around 3,000 youths daily. “The people have a dream of making India a developed nation. Politics in the State has heated up after the latest statement of Union Minister Bhupender Yadav that due to the mistakes of the government, many people are being deprived of OBC reservation. He said that there is a Congress government in Rajasthan, but OBC reservation is zero in eight districts of Banswara, Dungarpur, Pratapgarh, Udaipur, Sirohi, Rajsamand, Chittorgarh and Pali. “OBC non creamy layer certificate is not being given by Rajasthan government for Central government services. The commission has written about this in its report. CM Ashok Gehlot should think about it,” he said.

PSO Mahendra Meena registered a complaint in Ashok Nagar police station saying that his pistol was taken out and stolen by some unknown person during the protest near Statue circle. Meena mentioned in the complaint that when the march reached the circle and water canon was used on the crowd, his official pistol was stolen amid the panic. During the protest, not only was a police pistol stolen, but there were complaints of theft of cash, wallets and valuables. The wallets of some BJP workers were also stolen. They also reached the police station and registered complaints in the regard.
