Increase milk collection, says Sushma Arora

Udaipur: Administrator and Managing Director of Rajasthan Co-operative Dairy Federation Sushma Arora visited Udaipur division and instructed the dairy officers to increase milk collection. Arora held a meeting with Udaipur Divisional Commissioner and TAD Commissioner Rajendra Bhatt and Collector Tarachand Meena on Thursday and discussed milk production and dairy development activities in the district. Arora toured Banswara, Dungarpur, Udaipur & Chittorgarh.

Arora said that the present milk collection of 1.10 lakh litres in the district was very less and said that it should be increased. Bhat assured to provide a budget of Rs 2.5 crore for dairy development activities.
District Collector Tarachand Meena suggested the need to set up milk collection centres at the panchayat level. He gave the dairy officers a target of collecting 2 lakh litres of milk per day in the next two months. He also inspected the proposed land for setting up a cattle feed plant in Udaipur.

Alottery for 563 dairy booths in JMCG Area was drawn on Thursday. Four applicants have been shortlisted for one booth. Those selected will be called for an interview beginning April 10. The lottery was drawn at JMCG HQs in the presence of Commissioner Mahendra Soni. A total of 19 thousand 905 applications were received for 563 dairy booths and 2252 people have been shortlisted. The lottery was drawn category wise (ST, SC, Divyang, Ex-Servicemen and General) as booths are reserved category wise.
Secretariat staff slapped by employee leader; protest held
Jaipur (FIB): A drama prevailed in secretariat on Thursday after an employee leader allegedly slapped a clerk for not making his entry pass.
Jogeshwar Prasad Sharma slapped the clerk Changur Prajapati in the security section of the secretariat. Sharma also misbehaved with senior DS Pradeep Goyal regarding the same matter. After the incident, CCTV footage was released. Jogeshwar Sharma, State GS of Sanyukt Karmachari Mahasangh (integrated) had applied for the entry pass on March 26, but the pass was not made. The conversation turned into a heated argument and Jogeshwar slapped Prajapati. As soon as the incident occurred, the employees demanded the arrest of Jogeshwar. The employees warned of protest on Monday.

By-elections in local bodies announced
Jaipur (FIB): The State Election Commission has announced the program for the bye-elections in urban bodies and Panchayati Raj institutions for the vacant posts due to various reasons till Jan 31, 2023.
