Rajasthan is going to polls later this year and the party’s state unit needs a strong social media and digital team.
For this, PCC has made a new Social Media and Digital Platform Department.
Sumit Bhagasara, former state president of NSUI and Youth Congress, has been appointed as the Chairman of the Department.
PERFORMANCE REPORT OF MLAS, THOSE IN ‘D’ CATEGORY MAY NOT GET TICKETS
Jaipur: The Congress leadership has got a survey conducted on the performance of its MLAs. According to sources, state Congress in-charge Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa had got the survey done and on the basis of performance, categories have been made of ministers and legislators who have been divided into A, B, C, D categories. So there is a possibility that MLAs coming in ‘D’ category may not get tickets and tickets for poor performing minister can also be deducted. The Congress high command is making this list at a very secretive level. In fact, sources related to the Congress party are claiming that after the recent budget of Gehlot government, if assembly elections are held today, then the party can win 110-112 seats.
Apart from these, Prateek Singh, Vikram Swami, Sanjeev Rajpurohit, Anupam Sharma and Ranjana Sahu have been made State Coordinators. MLA Danish Abrar was the first Chairman of the Dept. Bhagasara said that office bearers and workers of department will be appointed at district & block levels. Cyber warriors will also be deployed, who will be engaged in promoting flagship schemes of Gehlot govt on social media, besides responding to BJP propaganda, he added.
