Jaipur : Along with mines in the state, a new record of revenue generation is being created daily in the mineral oil and natural gas sector as well. ACS Mines & Petroleum Dr Subodh Agarwal said that in the financial year 2022-23, Rs 4,889 crore 17 lakh has been earned from mineral oil and natural gas sector which is Rs 893.77 crore as compared to the previous FY. 4,322 crore 14 lakh has been received from the mineral oil sector, while Rs. 555 crore 14 lakh from natural gas sector. He said that there are four petroleum basins spread over an area of 1.5 lakh square kilometers in 14 districts of the state. Director Mines Sandesh Nayak informed that under the Hydrocarbon Exploration and Licensing Policy, ONGC, Oil India Ltd, Cairn-Vedanta Ltd have been awarded for exploration of crude oil and natural gas in the state.

Man dies after falling from balcony in Jpr

Jaipur: A young labourer died after falling down from the second floor of a house while plastering in the balcony. He fell down due to loss of balance and died during treatment after suffering a severe head injury. The police got the post-mortem done and handed over the body to the relatives. The father of the deceased registered a case of culpable homicide on Wednesday.
According to police, Dausa resident Santosh Koli (37) died in the accident. He lived with his parents on Nahargarh Road, near Navagraha
