WHY YOU NEED A NIGHT SCAN LIGHT TOWER: Night Scan light towers allow you to customize light intensity and coverage by stopping the tower at any height before it is fully extended. Installation flexibility is delivered with three lightweight options; roof-mounted to the apparatus, internally installed extending through the roof or mounted externally to the vehicle.

All Night Scan light towers meet or exceed all NFPA 1901-16 requirements. The Made in the USA, maintenance-free design operates in nearly any environment – from dusty, hot deserts to -22°F, snowy conditions. The Powerlite dual-tilt light option allows you to illuminate 360° of the scene by equally distributing light front and back.

The nearly limitless options of Night Scan ensures that it will meet the needs of your department.

Hilly terrain or tall buildings might require a light tower of 30 feet with six high-powered lamps.

Small vehicles might be better suited with a 3.25 foot Night Scan Chief model with two lamps. The towers can accommodate any vehicle’s electrical system using multiple LED lighting options.

The always upright design of Night Scan provides the best platform for adding optional strobe lamps or video cameras. Video cameras can be used for scene recording, training or remote monitoring of operations. ABOUT: The Will-Burt Night Scan® Chief is a roof-mounted, fold-down light tower which requires no interior vehicle space. It is typically used on medium-size rescue, pumper rescue, service and utility vehicles. POWERLITE LIGHT TOWER ABOUT: The Will-Burt Night Scan® Powerlite is a roof-mounted, fold-down light tower which requires no interior vehicle space. It is typically used on heavy-rescue vehicles, mobile command centers and airport ARFF vehicles. Opposable light fixtures provide equal lighting forward and backward at the same time – 360˚ of light. Delivering up to 220,000 lumens, the Night Scan® Powerlite is ideal on any vehicle where maximum light is required. The Powerlite 3.0 and 4.5 can be elevated with truck air or optional on-board compressor. The 2.3 comes with a built-in compressor.

VERTICAL COMPLETE LIGHT TOWER

ABOUT: The Will-Burt Night Scan® Vertical Complete is a vertically mounted light tower which was created to be installed externally to the side or rear of a vehicle. This light tower includes an on-board compressor for elevation and requires no truck air. Used for elevating lights and/ or cameras, it is perfect for smaller vehicles where space is limited. Measuring less than 6 inches (16 cm) deep, it can even fit between the cab and box. The compressor box can be placed below or beside the mast to suit your specific vehicle requirements.

UPGRADING FROM HALOGEN / HID

NIGHT SCAN LED UPGRADE LED LIGHTING UPGRADE: The latest in LED light technology is now available for many in-service halogen and HID Night Scan light towers. Stainless Steel Short Flange

METAL RCP COVER (1997-2005) If your light tower has a Metal RCP Cover then the light fixtures will be attached either by stainless steel short flanges or long shafts.

Each of these style require a different upgrade kit and is available in either a two or four light configuration utilizing the XL-200 LED fixtures.
