With breakthroughs in neuroscience and the unprecedented access to data and human brain knowledge, it becomes crucial to ask "what is next?" This work emerges from a critique of responsive systems, specifically in architecture, ranging from ideation, design processes, realization, and experience, where it is postulated that responsive systems that not only respond to an input according to a set of rules, but furthermore generates its own rules and acts upon. Moreover, rethinking several concepts, this projects poses several questions around authorship, interaction, perception, materiality and experiential loops. As we tend to layer up our perceptual sets, percieving a space changes how we percieve a space the next time, and that interns impacts our being in space.
Projects main elements:
+An aparatus, that collects simultanously spatial and physiological data
+A lab for generating learning data sets
+A final 1:1 scale model, that is a 3x3x3 cube that generates light and sound relative to users' brain data
