remained the same over the years: that of providing excellent customer service. “We try to make it feel like a small town,” says Lucyshyn. “We go out of our way to really get to know our customers. We get to know their families, too, and ask about how they are.” He goes on to say that their customers appreciate the friendly, personable service. “We have 25 staff members; five are full time,” states Lucyshyn. “Nicole Kindt and Derek MacDonald have been here for more than 20 years.” He notes that both these staff members are strong leaders and take customer service very seriously. “Having Nicole and Derek along with a lot of great staff over the years has helped us remain successful; the customers really enjoy interacting with the staff.” “Nicole does such a great job at remembering people and their names,” says Lucyshyn. He explains that Kindt’s warm friendly demeanor encourages customers to come back. With the other staff following Kindt’s lead, the entire business reflects warmth, friendliness and service excellence. “Derek started here when he was 13; today he manages our Purus Bottled Water,” comments Lucyshyn. It was about 15 years ago that the reverseosmosis water filtration system was added to Golf’s. Purus Water is also delivered to about 35 locations throughout Saskatchewan, Alberta and Manitoba. Known as “Saskatoon’s Car Wash Experts,” Golf’s Car Wash has earned a reputation for providing the latest technologies and impeccable customer service. Lucyshyn notes that with the Shell fuel station and convenience store, Golf’s offers more than just a great car wash. “We’re just giving people what they want.” Golf’s Car Wash is located at 1205 Arlington Avenue and open seven days a week from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. FLS
