Before Dine was created, our team were scattered across the UK, busy working in high-end restaurants, hotels and event companies. Michael Gill, Dine’s Chairman, ran a michelin-starred restaurant for 40 years and was often asked to provide “outside” catering. As we all know, “outside catering” often means “inside” - offices, marquees, homes - but more importantly, it means freedom, a freedom to create something special and tailored exactly to the needs of our clients. So Dine was born in 1998. Dine celebrated 15 years in 2013 and running outside events is still a big part of what we do. We are also now managing a suite of our own beautiful venues, like The Mansion, but with a freedom we have come to call the “Dine Difference”; our style of creative thinking coupled with an attention to detail which makes us unique and allows us to make our events exceptional. Our clients can be free to conjure their own vision whilst our innovative products and services can make it a reality.




The Mansion is a listed classical building situated to the north of Leeds and only a short journey from Harrogate and York. It commands superb views over the 700 landscaped acres of parkland, lakes and woodland that comprise Roundhay Park. Built in the early 1800’s as “accommodation for a family of distinction� and later acquired for the people of Leeds, The Mansion has served as a centrepiece for private and public celebrations for well over 100 years, feted by royalty and celebrity for its elegant architecture and exceptional hospitality. This Yorkshire landmark was lovingly restored in partnership with Dine in 2009 and the result is well judged opulence with a feel of a boutique hotel, blending original features and contemporary, award winning design. We celebrated our 15th Anniversary in 2013 with a special charity event at The Mansion and continue to manage the building. We are incredibly proud to build on our success in both venue management and catering to develop a stellar reputation for fantastic weddings, impeccable service and stunning food at The Mansion.




From the very beginning you will meet and plan your wedding with one of our Event Managers who specialise in organising Weddings for couples who are looking to create something special and unique to them. They will then be with you on the day, giving you complete peace of mind that together you will experience a day you and your guests will never forget. The Mansion is a private venue so you won’t be sharing your wedding day with anyone else. You and your guests have the flexibility to arrange accommodation at a variety of nearby hotels to suit different tastes and budgets. You also have the option to host your civil ceremony with us as well as the reception giving you the comfort of a complete wedding day in one place. Guests enter The Mansion via the smart private entrance and lobby, and are immediately greeted by the chic and sumptuous dÊcor which has served to sympathetically regenerate this historic landmark venue for the 21st Century whilst retaining many original features. One of the most impressive features of this striking venue is its lovingly restored sweeping staircase which branches around the central atrium of The Mansion, underneath its magnificent cascading chandelier and glass dome, flooding the heart of the venue with natural light and creating a photographer’s dream setting! A unique Grade II listed venue, complemented perfectly by our award winning service and cuisine; step inside The Mansion and you will experience the elegance and grandeur of a first class wedding venue.




Spacious, welcoming and flooded with natural light, the Colonnades is an elegant room suiting a variety of purposes from civil ceremonies to formal dinners, canapÊ parties and even outdoor barbeques! The room’s series of French doors offer parkland views and open out onto a private terrace beneath the original colonnades. The interior is a subtle blend of original features and contemporary award-winning design. A gentle old-gold colour scheme was chosen for this room in order to marry it with the parkland outside, and this offers guests a neutral but stylish space in which to celebrate. Accessed via The Mansion’s sweeping staircase with its cascading chandelier and glass dome, the Mansion Room, like the Colonnades is filled with natural light; it’s hard to imagine a better view of the beautiful parkland. Our largest room, the Mansion Room is an opulent but airy space with smart clean lines and houses a discreet bar facility tucked away in its L-shape layout, which spans the full depth of the house. AV amenities have been subtly incorporated into the room’s interior décor, including a multi-channel PA system, and multiple data and power points. Dressed for a lunch or dinner the Mansion Room is an exceptional location to host any occasion and will leave a lasting impression. Our attention to detail and constant care of the venue is what we call the ‘Dine Difference’, and is evident from the moment you arrive at The Mansion. With a range of rooms to suit parties of 12 to 220, a stunning parkland location and the Dine Team on site to create the perfect event for you, The Mansion is the ideal venue for any occasion. Located just 10 minutes from Leeds City Centre, The Mansion is easily accessible by train or car and benefits from free parking. The Parkland location offers a refreshing alternative to the standard city centre hotel spacious, welcoming and flooded with natural light, The Mansion can really make your event stand out from the rest. Technology has been used throughout The Mansion; colour changing lighting can set the tone for your event and you can even tweak the colour of the chandelier with it’s 54,000 crystals. Computer controlled lighting, satellite television and plasma screens, PA systems, secure access control, Wi-Fi, projection systems, conference phones, blackout and soundproofing are all discreetly woven into the stately fabric of this historic building. An executive boardroom or an intimate dining room, the Fountain Room meets a variety of requirements. Comfortable and stylish seating complement its dramatic oak table, and every effort has been made to meet the demands of a meeting room with a touch of elegance and contemporary style. The oversized lightshade suspended from the high ceiling can be dimmed to create an intimate atmosphere taking the space from day to night. The Fountain Room is also fully equipped with all of the conveniences that you would expect. Interconnecting with neighbouring Barran and Waterloo Rooms, the Fountain Room is part of our trio of small meeting rooms which have all of the opulence of a boutique hotel, and with the attentive service of our in-house Butler on hand throughout your event, they are a breath of fresh air in the world of business events.
