A Message from Chuck Lamson, Development Officer
An amazing feature of our Tudor Oaks community is the active role of the Resident Council. For forty-eight (48) years the Resident Council has faithfully served the needs of this community in a variety of ways— including envisioning, creating, and managing the Memorial Gift Fund. In recent years, residents asked if it was possible to receive a charitable donation receipt for Memorial Gifts.
Tudor Oaks and the Resident Council collaborated to make it happen by directing gifts to Tudor Oaks, a 501(c)(3) organization. But in recognition of the Council’s historic role in creating the Memorial Gift program, Tudor Oaks/ABHM granted the Resident Council continued authority for spending the funds for the resident community benefit. Thus, we thank you, residents, for recently approving use of Memorial Gift funds to support your #1 Wish—new furnishings for the Oak Ridge lounge!
