Sandy was born June 26, 1942 in Milwaukee, WI. She lived in the Bay View area in her family home since it was built in 1949. Sandy was involved in Girl Scouts throughout her 12 years of school. She was highly decorated and showed great passion for scouting. Her leader recognized her love of scouts and gave Sandy the troop flag. Just recently, her good friend, Juilia Kurlinski, made her flag into a quilt!
