Resident Highlight: Versa Reichert Versa Reichert was born in Joplin, Missouri, where she graduated from Joplin High school. During school she worked at Jung Baking Company as a stenographer.

She met her late husband, Gilbert, at Immanuel Lutheran Church while he was in the service.

They corresponded with each other for 3 years while he was away. When he came back they married in the same church where they met.

Versa and her family enjoyed traveling. She has travelled to 64 different countries. She says her favorite trips were to view the exotic animals were. Versa also enjoys gardening, cooking and reading the newspaper.

They ended up moving to Milwaukee, Gilbert’s home city, due to a job opportunity. They had four children, Linda, Vergil, Denis, and Cheryl. Sadly, Linda and Vergil both passed away some years ago.

Versa had heard of Tudor oaks from her brother-in-law. She moved Versa worked at Landover Mer- here nine years ago with her husband chandise and at the Wisconsin and son Denis. Since then, they have National bank. Her husband worked both passed away. She also has five at Allen Bradley. In the 50’s she even grandchildren and three greatowned “Versa’s Party Shop”! The grandchildren whom she loves to see. couple also helped organize, and Versa currently resides in the Frances were a part of, the Historical Society Henry health center. There she enjoys of Greendale for 46 years. word games and socializing with others.

Employee Spotlight

Adam Swatloske Hometown/schooling/currently reside: I grew up in the Milwaukee area. I attended high school at Catholic Memorial. I currently reside in Sussex with my girlfriend and four children.

Current Position: I star ted as a cook in the kitchen six year s ago and now I am the Assistant Director of Dining Services.

What are your interests/hobbies?

I enjoy anything sports related and outdoor activities. I also like Music festivals and spending time with family.

What are you most thankful for? I am most thankful for my friends, coworkers and family. Without them I wouldn’t be who I am today.

Other Interesting facts: I owned my own restaurant called forty8 in West Milwaukee. Also my son Jackson was just born in August.

Grief Support: Grief Support Group resumes Wednesday, October 20th at 6:30pm in the PDR or via Zoom for family and friends. The zoom information is the same as Dementia support group.

Elder Benefits Specialist & Medicare SHIP Counselor Dawn Hendrix from the Waukesha County Aging and Disability Resource Center (ADRC) will be providing one on one benefit guidance services on the dates provided below.

She will be here the 2nd Tuesday of every month between 1pm-3pm. Please sign up in the Library to reserve your timeslot.
