Monks Kirby Monks Kirby is a small and very attractive village which has the great advantage of easy access from all directions but with almost no through traffic. It is about 8 miles north-west of Rugby and 10 miles from the centre of Coventry.

The village is dominated by the Grade 1 priory church of St Edith and there are two public houses, The Denbigh Arms and The Bell Inn, a Spanish restaurant. Junior schooling is available at the very well regarded Revel School. There is an extensive range of excellent senior schooling in Rugby, Lutterworth and Coventry. Maintained schools include Lawrence Sheriff selective boy’s grammar School and Rugby selective girls High School. While Lutterworth (non-selective) Grammar School is rated “outstanding” by OFSTED.
