SELLER INSIGHT

The property is an equestrian’s dream! It is ideal for running a proper yard with several horses as the facilities are absolutely amazing. It has been so well laid out and planned with everything in the right place, and you can see across the yard to the stabled horses from the kitchen sink! It is all in superb order and it’s great having a totally secure tack room at the back of the workshop.”

“The double garage that adjoins the property is currently split into two, one side having a sink at the back as well as a WC. This area would be perfect for grooms and so on to congregate for a coffee or lunch.”

“The paddocks are all enclosed by 4-rail post and rail fencing so it suits ponies as well as horses. There is so much land it allows you to harvest your own hay - we have just had a bumper crop of hay from the big field at the front.”

“We love the open-fronted timber barn on the other side of the drive – it seems a waste to have it just for tractor or hay storage - we think it would be great for a big party or for a wedding!”

“Much of the barns were converted from a crew yard which created the sheltered, south facing courtyard at the front, so this is where the cattle would have lived. The barn adjoins our neighbour at one end. There are just the three properties in this little spot: next door and the detached white house which was originally the farmhouse. Although we are a little way from the village, it’s lovely to be able to hear the church bells ringing in the distance.”

“Instead of having water in the front fountain, I have planted it with mint and strawberries and call it my Pimms fountain! The courtyard is the perfect place to sit and relax in the sun.”

“The gardens have been so beautifully landscaped with a woodland area at the back. The previous owner planted a mix of about 300 trees about 4 years ago and, although young, they seem to be growing fast. The wood is beyond an orchard which has many fruit trees laden with fruit; there are eating and cooking apples, different types of plum, a pear and a cherry.”

“The way the property has been converted makes it ideal for multi-generational living. I have been living here with my daughter and her partner and, with the two living rooms we have been able to be independent apart from sharing the kitchen. The ground floor en suite bedroom has been excellent for guests but would be perfect for elderly family members.”*
