Rigg Farm
Leasingham Moor | Sleaford | Lincolnshire | NG34 8SH
Rigg Farm is a horsey person’s dream! Here, we have all the facilities to run a small, private competition yard in a prime location close to so many places for competing. It’s only about 15 minutes’ drive to both Elms Farm Equestrian Centre and Oasby eventing, and about half an hour’s drive to Arena UK and to Norton Disney Equestrian Centre. For children, there is a choice of two branches of The Pony Club, the Blankney and the Belvoir, and hacking is from our doorstep straight onto bridlepaths without going onto a road.”
“The facilities are ideal not only with the stabling and yard but the grazing is on very well established, well drained land and there are so many outbuildings including a huge, brick-built barn with Crossties where we have the horse solarium which is available under separate negotiation. There’s a big adjoining workshop, lots of storage, a large, brick-built, secure tack room, a garage and loads of places under cover for parking horse boxes, trailers and machinery.”
“We are well set back from the road and it is a very quiet, tranquil spot surrounded by farmland with no close neighbours; wildlife is in abundance frequently seeing barn owls and deer.”
“The house is in excellent order; we have recently fitted a brand new kitchen and bathroom which has underfloor heating. It is a very light, airy house, has plenty of space and lovely views of the fields all around.”
“The solar panels reduce running costs considerably and we are able to feed back into the grid for an annual income.”
“Leasingham is just down the road and has an idyllic primary school. There’s also a farm shop and café, and Sleaford is only a 5 minute drive where there are great secondary schools, supermarkets and shops, sports clubs and a leisure centre. There’s also a train station on the Peterborough to Lincoln line although it is only a 25 minute drive to Grantham for direct fast trains to London. We are so conveniently positioned; Lincoln is only about a 20 minute drive north.” *
