They have been able to appreciate the best of town and country living. Bill says they have had three extensions. They have ensured the house has been well maintained and recently added a new bathroom and some solar panels. The kitchen has been the busy daily hub of the home where you can sit round the central island for chatty meals or in summer, have a sunny al fresco breakfast on the patio. Doreen says the spacious sitting room, dining room, and the first floor TV room are perfect for entertaining their friends and family. They have recently hosted a day for their twenty grandchildren and great grandchildren and in the past have invited friends round for fun fish and chip suppers. It is a house that welcomes people. The garden is possibly the jewel in the crown of this delightful property. It is a glorious spring garden full of colour from the azaleas and rhododendrons, whilst the acer and the two apple trees add further charm. It is pleasant to sit by the pond or relax in the summer house: but Bill says that to settle at the end of the garden with a glass of wine and look across the lawn up to the house, is a view that is both pretty and peaceful. The garden has given many hours of contentment. Mill Hill has excellent shopping facilities and there are excellent schools in the area. Mill Hill and the house have provided the owners with an excellent lifestyle, and they will miss them both but feel that number four is now waiting for another family. They take away very many happy memories.
