“We’ve lived here since 2016 and have carried out a number of improvements, including the installation of central heating and independently controlled separate boilers which has helped immensely with the bills. We also created our lovely tea room which is very busy and a popular feature with guests.”

“We sectioned off areas of the garden to create separate spaces, including a family area for relaxing and BBQs with friends and family, as well as an orchard with lots of bird feeders. The huge shed is useful for extra storage and we also have a greenhouse and planters for growing your own fruit and vegetables. It’s ideal for hosting large gatherings and there’s plenty of room for a marquee if required. The courtyard is nicely sheltered and we follow the sun from the back garden to the front where we can watch the sun set with a glass of wine.”

“Hutton-le-Hole is a chocolate box-style village in the North Yorkshire moors, so there are plenty of amazing walks available right from our doorstep. The local pub serves tasty food and hosts monthly quiz nights and we also have a café and deli / bakery here too. There is a good sense of community with plenty of old-fashioned fun events taking place, such as the charity Duck Race. The famous Ryedale Folk Museum is just down the road from us and we’re only 45 minutes from the coast, so day trips to Whitby and Scarborough are an easy option.”

“We always host our family Christmas here as we close the business and use the tea rooms as our dining area. The lounge is a beautiful room all year round, especially in winter when the open fire is lit. It’s a wonderful space to get cosy and sit peacefully whilst taking in the pretty views to the front.”
