LOCATION

The former Royal Burgh of Sanquhar is a small market town in the Nith Valley and is surrounded by striking scenery. There are direct train services every two hours southbound to Dumfries in 27 minutes and northbound to Glasgow Central in 1 hour 16 minutes. London can be reached in approximately 5 hours.

DIRECTIONS

From the south, turn left at Mennock, go over the bridge and turn immediately right. Follow this road passing Ulzieside, and the entrance to Euchanfoot is on the right hand side, opposite Euchan Bridge Cottage. From the north, as you enter Sanquhar turn right onto Blackaddie Road, travel over the bridge and turn left immediately (signed Southern Upland Way). Euchanfoot is the first property you come to on the left.
