Seller Insight “Before moving to Four Winds thirteen years ago we were already living in town,” says Robert, “and we were keen to stay because Banbury has so much to offer. It’s very convenient and has a good array of shops and amenities; in fact everything is close at hand. And when we happened upon the house itself, it just seemed to provide everything that we were looking for. It had only been built five years previously, so it was spacious and fresh, but we could see that there were things we could do to put our own stamp on it, which was also very appealing.” “Over the past few years we’ve re-fitted the main bathroom, laid beautiful new floor tiles in both the kitchen and the utility and we also replaced the double doors between the main living room and the dining room with glazed doors to enhance the feeling of light and space. In addition to the cosmetic changes we also completely refurbished the conservatory, which has made a huge difference, and we carried out a major transformation of the garden, during which we created a lovely decked seating area and levelled off the lawn to make it more family friendly. The property as a whole is now in excellent order.” “My favourite part of the house, especially since we carried out the renovations, is the conservatory,” says Robert. “It’s a very peaceful room and it allows me to enjoy a lovely view of the garden.” “For us the location of the house has been absolutely idea,” says Robert. “The close is made up of only a few houses, and there’s virtually no passing traffic so it’s very quiet, and we can stroll into town from here, so it’s very convenient.” “We have the added bonus of two garages, which can be accessed directly from the utility room,” says Robert, “and there’s also room enough for a couple of cars on the driveway, so parking isn’t a problem even when we have guests.”*

I think it’s the space that I’ll miss most when we move. It’s a house that’s comfortable for day-to-day family life and ideal for entertaining. However, I’ll also miss the community feel within the close; it’s been a very friendly place to live. It’s just a lovely family home.”

To the first floor, the landing leads to four double bedrooms, all having built in wardrobes, the master having an en-suite shower room whilst the guest bedroom which is also a good size, has a window overlooking the rear garden. There are two further double bedrooms, one of which is currently used as an office and has fitted workspace which the current owners are happy to leave, however, for anybody requiring four useable bedrooms, they are more than happy to reinstate the room back to its original use as a bedroom with built in wardrobes. The principal bathroom is fitted in a white suite and has a power shower over the bath.

Outside, the property has an excellent rear garden which enjoys in our opinion a good degree of privacy. There is a large decking area which is the ideal setting for evening drinks on those warmer evenings. Also benefiting from an integral double garage and a driveway, this is a lovely family home.
