Seller Insight “When the barn was converted we felt it was very important to maintain all of its wonderful character, so all of the work was done sympathetically, very much in keeping with the architectural heritage of the building. Each of the holiday lets has it’s own character and they all incorporate some of the lovely period features, but we’ve also added more contemporary elements such as modern kitchens and bathrooms, so each is unique in terms of its design, but they’re all beautifully presented throughout and extremely comfortable.” “Each unit has its own parking area and they also have access to the attractive communal grounds,” continues Debbie. “There is a good size lawn to the front of the property and a huge area to the back, which is ideal for alfresco dining and more than enough space for children to let off a little bit of steam. The whole property is enveloped by rolling countryside, so it’s not only very peaceful, but the views are magnificent.” The Wheat House is particularly nice,” says Debbie. “It’s one of the largest of the holiday lets and benefits from having a huge living space. In the past we’ve had groups book all of the properties and then use the living area in The Wheat House as a space in which they can all congregate.” Each of the properties has it’s own character and charm, but The Cart Shed is one that really stands out,” says Debbie. “It has some gorgeous period features as well as a beautiful spiral staircase, which winds up to a lovely bedroom that has been built in the eaves. It’s very impressive.” “The beautiful location really lends itself to running a holiday-let business,” continues Debbie. “Nearby Welford is a gorgeous little village with three nice pubs – one of which is award winning – and adjacent to the barn is a footpath that will take you all the way into Stratford-upon-Avon. The transport links are also extremely good.” It has been wonderful to be able to breath new life into what was just a very rundown old barn,” says Debbie. “We’ve managed to create seven really attractive properties and a thriving business in this extremely picturesque setting.” *

The Wheat House Is one of the larger properties offering good sized, flexible accommodation for up to six people. There are many exposed beams and period features throughout The Wheat House. The delightful bedrooms offer accommodation in two double rooms and a twin. Each room has low-level wall lighting, wardrobe storage and shower facilities. In addition, there is a large family bathroom with shower, bath and washbasin.
