Messiah In The Old Testament Episode 35
The Post-Flood Era
The Table Of The Nations
Welcome to Messiah in the Old Testament. In today's episode, we are going to discuss the second pivotal event which happened during the post-flood era. In our last episode we told you that there were three pivotal events which happened during the time period from when Noah opened the door of the ark, so everyone could get out, and to the emergence of the patriarchs. That is the post-flood era.
And there are three pivotal events. And the reason we’re discussing them is because each of those events is associated with one or more Messianic Prophecies. In our last episode, we covered the first event which was the construction of the city and the tower on the Shinar Plain, commonly referred to as the Tower of Babel. This episode, we are going to cover the dispersion of all the family groups out into the world. And then in our next episode we are going to cover the division of the earth or the separation of the earth which happened during the lifetime of Peleg. Now, the first and second pivotal events actually occur very close together. The episode today happens right on the heels of the event that we I talked about last time. So, as a matter of introduction, I’m just going to review quickly that first pivotal event and then we'll just go right into our second event.
So, it all started when Noah opened the door of the ark and Noah, his three sons Shem, Ham and Japheth and all their wives and all the animals got off of the ark. The first thing that Noah did was to build an altar. And he sacrificed clean animals on that altar. That sacrifice went up as a pleasing aroma up to Elohim. Elohim then swiveled or pivoted from judgment mode where he was opening the fountains of the deep and the earth was flooded and there were these storms and remember all that we talked about in our flood episode, he swiveled from that horrible
judgment over to blessing mode. Now, you could say that this was probably the first pivotal event that happened after Noah got off the ark. But pretty much when you're the only family on the earth, everything you do is an earth changing, pivotal event.
So, Elohim decided to pronounce a blessing on Noah, his sons, their wives and all the animals. And if you want to read it, it's in Genesis 9:1. And we discussed this in detail. It says:
“Be fruitful and increase in number and fill the earth.
Be fruitful. Remember, the Hebrew word fruitful is peroo.
And it's the picture of the fruit tree so heavily laden with fruit that the branches are touching the ground, fruitful, abundant, fruit touching the ground. And then, increase in number. The word increase is the Hebrew word reboo. And reboo means to increase in number, quantity, volume, force, influence. This whole idea of just massive increase. Now, here it says specifically, number. So, we’re talking about population. But, if you think about it, if your population is increasing, their influence is increasing, their force and ability is increasing. So, it encompasses that whole meaning. and then finally, fill the earth. The word for fill is the Hebrew word miloo.
And that word is, remember, the picture of the bucket full of sand. You're carrying your sand pail down the beach and the sand is falling off as you walk. Or the bucket so full of water, that when you're carrying it, it's sloshing out the sides because it is just so full. They’re to fill up the earth to that overflowing. Then Elohim pronounced a second blessing. And that one happened in Genesis 9:7. This was specifically for Noah and his three sons and their families. He said:
As for you, be fruitful (peroo) and increase in number (reboo); multiply on the earth and increase upon it.”
Multiply is the word shirtzoo. And shirtzoo is the word, Hebrew word, that means to swarm or teem.
It is the picture of that school of fish. So many fish just swarming in a school. Or the flies or mosquitoes or gnats just swarming, completely surrounding you. And you’re trying to get, bat all those insects away. That's the picture. So, the animals were obedient.
They went out and they started filling up the earth. The humans, however, were not so obedient. They decided they would stay together as a family group. They would not split up. They would not go out and fill. They would not go out and swarm. They would all hang together. So, that's what they did. They went down off the mountain.
And Noah planted a vineyard and they all hung out in their tents or houses together. And we had the whole episode where Noah got drunk with his wine, fell asleep and was uncovered. And Ham went in and saw his nakedness. And as a result, Noah cursed his youngest son. He became a slave to his brothers. Shem was elevated. And Shem then became the prominent, honored son who then would carry on the Messianic Line. So, this family group all picked up and moved to a new location.
They moved to the Plain of Shinar. And that's the big, giant Fertile Crescent we talked about it in our last episode. A massive amount of space, most of it very fertile, verdant, beautiful land. It was a beautiful place to just go and sit your bottoms down and settle. And that's what they did. And remember the Hebrew word settle was wbVvE¥y (yayshvoo) and it's from the root bAvÎy (yashav) which means to sit, dwell or remain. So, they literally just sat down and didn't go out into the world. Well, this is obviously being disobedient. This was rebellion, because they were supposed to swarm, fill, go out into the world and increase and fill it up. Instead, they were just sitting down on the Shinar Plain.
Then they all decided it would be a brilliant idea to build a city. And the reason for building that city, I think the reality was, they were trying to build something that would protect them from another flood that was going to come. They were probably in fear of the flood. And despite Elohim's promise with the rainbow that he would never destroy the world with the flood again, I don't think they quite believed him. And so, they were acting in rebellion when they built the city. And remember, they burned the bricks.
They fired bricks and they used the pitch or the tar as mortar. And they started building. They built their city. They built a tower. And the tower was rising up off the Shinar Plain. And Elohim looked down and he saw the rebellion. He saw the disobedience. He heard them bragging that they were going to make a name for themselves and build this tower up to the heavens. He heard that they did not want to be scattered out into the world. And that's why they were building the city so they wouldn't get scattered. And they wouldn’t fulfill what Elohim had called them all to do. He blessed them specifically, given them huge abundance. And, that promise that was given to Noah and his three sons, the fruit touching the ground, the increase in volume, power, influence, the swarming, the pail so full of sand it’s falling off the sides. Those blessings have never been negated in the Tanakh. Nowhere do I find that God gave us a new plan, a new reality.
The promises given to Noah and his offspring, which we are all part of that. We are all part of Noah's offspring. We still have that blessing in our lives. We still have those abilities within us to increase and multiply and be abundant. So, Elohim looked down and he said I need to do something about this. These guys are just acting out of pure rebellion. This is not going to end well. So, he came down physically to the earth. Now, in the Garden of Eden when Elohim showed up and walked with Adam and Eve in the cool of the day, they were clothed with the glory of Elohim. They walked, they talked, they enjoy themselves. But, after the Flood. After being expelled from the Garden, now there's a whole new paradigm. So, when Elohim shows up different stuff happens.
And we talked about what happened when Elohim showed up on Mount Sinai with Moses. The mountain became red with fire. There was smoke. It looked like a volcano. There was lightning and thunder. It could also be like Elijah, went Elohim showed up on Mount Horeb. and there was earthquake and shaking the rocks were falling and there was a mighty wind. I personally think all of those manifestations happened when Elohim came down and stepped foot on the Shinar Plain. I think there was fire and smoke and lightning and thunder and earthquakes and shakings and wind blowing. And I'm convinced that, that fancy tower that they were building just collapsed to the ground. And the buildings fell down so that the work on the city and the tower would immediately stop. But, Elohim went further. He did two things.
The first thing he did was, remember the Hebrew word h¶DlVbÎn (navlah) from the root lAlD;b (balal). And that means to mix, mingle, confuse or confound. He mixed up their languages. He confused their languages. He confounded them so that they could not talk to each other. And obviously, he sorted them by family groups, because they all went out in family groups into the world, the only ones that could talk to each other. So, after the confusion. Of course, I think there was a lot of panic involved with the tower coming down, the city shaking, all the manifestations when Elohim showed up. I think there was a lot of fear and panic and chaos and confusion just from that.
But then Elohim said I want you guys to scatter out, spread out, do what I told you in the beginning. I told you to go out and increase, multiply, swarm, fill. So, I'm going to force you to do what I asked you to do. So, it's the Hebrew word X…wäpÎn (nafootz) from the root X…wÚp (pootz). And it means to disperse or scatter. The picture is a flock of sheep.
A predator gets in the sheep fold and the sheep just scatter trying to get away the predator. Or like the wildebeest and a lion chasing the wildebeest. And then the herd of wildebeest scatters because the
predator is after them. That is the picture of everyone on the Shinar Plain. Now in confusion, sorting themselves out by language and then scattering throughout the earth. Now, the two prophecies that are associated with that story I just told you, the first one is called:
The City and Tower on the Shinar Plain (Genesis 11:1-9) Babylon and Babel represent Elohim's resolve to use Messiah's sacrifice as a remedy for sin rather than worldwide destruction
He could have easily caused the earth to open up, swallow up all those people in the Shinar Plain, close back up, start over, pick some good ones like he did with Noah. But, it seems to me, this would just keep happening over and over and over. There would be destruction and renewal and destruction and renewal. He held to what he had promised. He did not destroy the world as a remedy for sin. Instead, Elohim was going to depend on Messiah, who is going to come. And the sacrifice that Messiah was going to make, was going to be the remedy for sin. This was the first test. The city, the tower, that was the first test of Elohim's resolve not to destroy the world as a remedy for sin. And then the second prophecy:
Mount Zion and the Tower of Babel (Genesis 11:1-9) Babylon and Babel are an antitype pointing us to Jerusalem and Mount Zion as the seat of Messiah's eternal kingdom
And remember we talked in our last episode about Jerusalem and Mount Zion and the prophecies found in Isaiah, Micah, other places where Mount Zion is going to be raised up. And from Mount Zion, the law will go out. And from Mount Zion, Messiah is going to rule his eternal kingdom. So, the city and the tower in the Shinar Plain are the opposite, the antitype of the city and the tower that are going to represent Messiah’s eternal kingdom.
Now, today's pivotal event is the Dispersion. And we left the end of the first pivotal event with the nafootz, with the scattering, the dispersion,
the sheep scattering in front of the wolf that is chasing them. So, that is where today's episode starts. Now, we have to go to Genesis Chapter 10. Now, the Shinar Plain incident happened in Genesis 11.
Genesis 10 is a genealogical record of the three sons Shem Ham and Japheth and all their children. In fact, it mostly covers children and grandchildren of Shem Ham and Japheth. In some cases, it goes a little further down the genealogy. But generally, this is the first two generations after the three sons. So, Genesis chapter 10 has been called the Table of the Nations. Because, each of the names listed in Genesis Chapter 10, each of those people became a nation. And I thought it would be very fascinating and interesting to look and see, “Okay, where did all those people listed in Genesis Chapter 10 end up? Where are all the nations? Where did all the Japhethites go? The Hamites go? The Semites go? Where did they end up?” So, I looked far and wide, trying to find out where it was they went.
There are three places you can look to find that information. The first source, of course, is the Old Testament or the Tanakh itself. Because, there are clues hidden throughout the Tanakh.
For example, in Psalms, David talks about the Egyptians. And he refers to them as the Hamites or the sons of Ham. And, let me get it for you, here in Ezekiel 38:6, it talks about Japheth’s son Gomer. And says that they all lived in the far north. So, there are clues in the Tanakh. But also, we have a historian who went into very great detail, talking about where all those people groups ended up. And that's Josephus in The Antiquities of the Jews. And when he talks about the Table of the Nations, he talks about what the Greek names of these people are and where they ended up and what people group they were. Then additionally, you've got the writing of the sages. And remember, the Sefer HaYashar the Midrash, the Medieval Midrash. that also covers a lot of territory when it comes to that the Table of the Nations. So, fortunately, we live in an age right now where everything is computerized, everything is tagged. And you can go through and search and find all the references in the Tanakh, all the
references in all the writings of the sages. Go to Sefaria.org. You can search for anything you want. And then also Josephus the tagged version. I use a program called Accordance. And I can search through all of Josephus’ writings.
And I can find references to these people. So, let's look at one specific name from our list. Now, the first genealogy is that of Japheth. And the table lists seven sons and seven grandsons of Japheth. The first name on the list is Gomer. Which is in the Hebrew rRmO…g (gomer). And Ezekiel 38:6, remember we said:
Gomer and his son, the house of Togarmah are located in the far north.
So, that’s a clue where Gomer was located.
Josephus says in The Antiquities of the Jews 1:123:
“for Gomer founded those whom the Greeks now call Galatians [Galls], but were then called Gomerites.”
And if you look at the map of the Roman Empire, there was, one of the provinces was Galatia where the Galatians lived. And that is smack dab right in Central Turkey.
And then, in the Sefer HaYashar, book of Genesis, in the section Noach:
“And the sons of Gomer, according to their cities are Phrancum that dwell in the land of Phranceah by the rivers Phranceah and Senah.”
Phrancum is the word Frank as in Franks or Germans. Other sages confirm the belief that Gomer became the territory of Germania. Gomer – German. They think that’s where the term Germania came from. It's from the name Gomer. And this also matches the belief that his son
Ashkenaz settled in the Rhine Valley in Germany. So, they settled in Turkey first and then migrated to Germany.
So, what I did was, I made a listing of all the names for each of the three sons. I made a table for Japheth. I made a table for Ham. And I made a table for Shem. So, the table for Japheth contains 14 names. And then I looked up and figured out the territory.
And then, I plotted them on a map. Just, let's go through each data point real quickly and I'll show you on the map where these data points end up. So, Gomer, Galatians, Central Turkey and I also put a dot over in Germany in homage to what the Sefer HaYashar was saying. Ashkenaz, those are the Rheginians, which are found in Eastern Turkey. But then also they appeared in the Rhine Valley. So, they must have emigrated. Gomer and his son Ashkenaz emigrated to Germany. So, I have dot in Eastern Turkey and then, of course, the dot up in Germany. Riphath, are the Paphligonians which are located between the Roman provinces of Bithynia and Pontus. So, in the Northern Coast of Turkey. Togarmah, they are the Phrygians. And they are found in Central Turkey, the Province, Phrygia. And remember the Phyrigians and that's where the story about King Midas comes from.
He was the king of the Phrygian Empire. And the hats that they wore, the stocking caps that fold over, the Phrygian caps. Those are the descendants of Togarmah. And then Magog, are the Scythians on the North Shore of the Black Sea. So, put a dot up there on the North Shore of the Black Sea. And then Madai, are the Medes. And they’re found in Eastern Persia also Central Persia. Javan, that territory is Ionia. And all the Greeks came from Javan. Elishah, the Aeolians in Thessaly.
Tarshish, Cilicia, the capital of which is Tarsus on the southern part of Turkey on the Mediterranean Coast. And then Kittim, which is Cyprus. Radanim also called Dodanim, the island of Rhodes. Tubal, the country of Georgia on the Eastern Shore of the Black Sea. And then Meshach, are the Cappadocians. And then finally, Tiras, the Thracians. So, if we put all these dots, and I’m going to put up the total map.
Now, you can see that all of these dots are up in the northern parts, not in the southern parts, not in the central parts, but the northern parts. In fact, in the Table of Nations (Genesis 10:5), it says that the descendants of Japheth became the Maritime peoples. And it makes sense if you look at it at the dots on the Island of Rhoades, the Island of Cyprus, all the Greek Isles, Thessaly, all along the Coast of Turkey, the Black Sea, the North Shore the Black Sea. It would make sense that the maritime peoples will go and populate all these areas where there is huge amount of coastline available for them to put in and settle. Next, I’d like to talk about Ham.
Ham's list is a bit longer than Japheth's list. Ham’s list, he had four sons and 22 grandchildren. Now, granted, a bunch of those were the Canaanites. Then there are the Egyptian tribes which are not specifically listed by each tribe. I kind of conglomerated them. So, let's go through the Hamites.
First, we have Cush, which are the Ethiopians. So, dot over Ethiopia. Seba, the Sabeans in southern Arabia. Havilah, Getuli North Africa. So, over towards Morocco on the north coast of Africa, south of Spain and France there. Sabtah, the Ashtaborans in South Arabia. Raamah, the Ragmeans which are the Ethiopian, Kenyan, Tanzanian peoples down there on the Eastern the coast of Africa. Sabteca, I don't have a dot because nobody knows where Sabteca is. So, we have to leave that one blank. Nimrod, now Nimrod is an outlier. Nimrod did not go with all of his other relatives down into Africa and into Palestine. They went North up into Semitic territory. And it says that Nimrod was responsible for establishing Babylon and Assyria. So, next we have Mitzraim, those are the Egyptians. And then, of course, the Egyptian tribes also in that same area. So, a dot over Egypt. The Casluhites are the Philistines. So, the Philistines are found basically in Gaza and into the Sinai and up a bit into the Canaanite territories. There is overlap between the Philistines and the Canaanites. And then Put, which is Libya. So, a dot over Libya. And then Canaan, which, the tribes are found in Judea, the Roman
Colony Judea. So, you got the Sidonians, Hittites, Jebusites, Amorites, Girgashites, Hivites, Arkites, Sinites, Arvadites, Zemarites and Hamathites. And there’s not enough room on my map to put all those individual little dots. So, I just put one over Judea and one in the Sinai Peninsula. So, let's put all of those dots up now on a single map.
And now, you can see the Hamites are located in Northern Africa and up into Judea. And the Hamites are the southern people. The Japhethites are the northern people.
And now, let's talk about Shem. Shem is the honored son. Shem was the son through whom the line of Messiah would run. It was going to be reckoned through him. And the Table of the Nations list five sons and five grandsons for Shem.
Let's go through them. The first one is Elam, the Elamites. And they’re located in Southwestern Persia. They were the buffer between the Medians and the Babylonians. Asshur, the Assyrians in Northern Iraq. Arphaxad, the Chaldeans. Now, the term Chaldeans, in the Hebrew is Chaldees. The Chaldeans basically were the people in the entire Fertile Crescent. Which is basically the country, modern country of Iraq. So, we’ve got Arphaxad and then Shelah, Eber and Peleg which are successive generations. They all live in the land of Chaldea, the Fertile Crescent, Iraq. Then we have Joktan. Joktan had 13 sons. And Joktan populated India and Western Persia. So, the dot over on India and Western Persia. All the sons of Joktan became the Indian peoples. And then Lud the Lydians in Eastern Turkey. So, dots over Eastern Turkey. Aram, the Aramaeans, Syria. So, a dot over Syria. They were Semites. the Aramaeans were Semites and then Uz, the territory of Trachonitis and Damascus. Again, in the general vicinity of Syria. And then Hul which is the country Armenia. Gether which became the Bactrians. So, a dot up in the Bactrian Empire there. And then finally Meshech, which is the confluence of the Persian Gulf, the confluence of the Tigris and Euphrates. So, let's put up the map showing all of the Semites.
And you can see they are all right there in between the Japhethites and the Hamites. So, let's combine all of these maps into one single map. And let's see what it looks like. So, you’ve got the Table of the Nations. You’ve got the red dots representing Ham and the Hamites. And you see them spread out over Northern Africa, down the Horn of Africa, the Arabian Peninsula. And then you’ve got the yellow dots which are of the Japhethites. And you’ve got the dot in Germany and then across Thrace and Greece and then all throughout Turkey and the Northern Coast of the Black Sea, the Scythians, Georgia and then the Medians over there. And then finally, you’ve got the blue dots which are the sons of Shem, the Semites. And you'll see there, in kind of a thin band between. And you got some strange placements where you get a blue dot up there in yellow territory. And, of course, you’ve got the red dot in the middle of the territory which is Nimrod. And then you've got, of course Joktan and his offspring. So, I thought it was very, very fascinating to see where are all these people groups went. And where the territories ended up. Now, Nimrod, I’d like to talk little bit about Nimrod. His father and all his brothers headed to Ethiopia, Southern Arabia, Northern Africa, but Nimrod stayed in Shem’s territory.
Nimrod was a mighty warrior before the LORD. Nimrod was a mighty hunter. Nimrod was a man of war and Nimrod conquered lands in Arphaxad’s territory. And he set up cities in Babylon, Erech, Akkad and Calneh. And these all became part of his kingdom. And he then conquered lands in Asshur's territory, setting up cities in Ninevah, Rehoboth, Ir and Calah. So, he didn't displace the Semites. He didn't kill them all and take over their territory. He took over their territory and subjugated them. The Sefer HaYashar tells a story about how Nimrod operated.
He would conquer that the Semitic peoples around him and then consolidate. It says:
And then Nimrod placed officers over them, and took from their children hostages for security, that all would be servants unto him
and unto his brothers. And after Nimrod had thus reduced the people to servitude, he would return home with his men.
And he did this over and over and over again. So, he set up his kingdom in the middle of other people's territory. It’s my opinion that all this strife going on between Nimrod, the offspring of Ham and the Semitic peoples, offspring of Shem and even the Japhethites. There are stories of mighty wars between the Japhethites and the Hamites. I think this all is strife that was handed down from the incident that happened in the vineyard when Noah lay uncovered and Ham saw his nakedness. I think that, that strife just continued generation after generation after generation. So, I think Nimrod was just another link in the chain of hate between the brothers Shem, Ham and Japheth. So, let's talk about the Messianic Implications of this dispersion. Now, I did the map, yeah because I was interested and I thought it was fascinating and I thought it was kind of fun to put all those dots on the map. But, there was a purpose behind it.
The purpose was to see, okay, comparing the lands that Ham got versus the lands that Shem got versus the lands that Japheth got. Who got the best stuff? And based on our description of the Fertile Crescent and based on the prominence of Babylonia and Assyria and that region, it's obvious that, that region was the dominant region. That region was the best region. And I believe that Shem was given all that territory in the Fertile Crescent in order to be prosperous and to preserve his line so that Messiah could come through his line. So, the Messianic Implication is that Elohim preserved the Messianic Line through Shem by giving him the best territories. Next, the other Messianic Implication, in regards to the dispersion or scattering of all the people into the world. It is pointing us toward an event that is going to happen in Messiah’s life. There is going to come a point where Messiah will do the same thing that Elohim did. He’s going to send his followers out into the world. He is going to scatter them. So, he’s going to do the nafootz thing. He's going to scatter his people out into the world.
And he's going to tell them specifically, go out into all the world. So, this event, the dispersion of all the peoples, is pointing us toward Messiah who will do the same thing. Now, this stuff really excites me. You may not be so excited about genealogies and you may not be so excited about seeing where all the people went in the Table of Nations. But, I think it is very important for us to focus in on why did Elohim do this. Why didn't he just leave them settle and sit on their butts in the Shinar Plain and build this mega metropolis and then slowly spread out from there. I don't think that it fit his plan for Messiah coming. I don't think that, that is what he wanted. He wanted a different landscape. He wanted the people spread out throughout the earth. So then, when Messiah comes, then Messiah will then start small and then his influence will spread out throughout all of the earth, in similar fashion to what happened on the Shinar Plain. So, join me next time, when we are going to discuss the final, third pivotal event. And this to me is also a very fascinating thing. It's when the earth was divided or separated during the lifetime of Peleg. Peleg’s name means to divide. I personally believe that this was the point at which the earth was divided, the continents were divided. I we’ll talk about all the theories about that. There's some really interesting theories and we’ll go into that and we’ll talk most importantly about the Messianic Implications of that division and separation. So, join me next time.
Thank you for watching our show today. We hope that you enjoyed watching it as much as we enjoyed bringing it to you. Now, after watching this episode you might be saying to yourself, “Who is this Messiah that Dr. Smith is talking about?
Is he talking about the Christian Messiah? Is he talking about Jesus Christ, the Son of God, who was born of the Virgin Mary. And then lived a blameless and holy life on the earth, And then was tortured and crucified. And after he died he then was resurrected from the dead after three days. Then after people witnessed this, he was then taken up bodily by Elohim into heaven from the Mount of Olives.
Or is Dr. Smith talking about the Muslim prophet Isa. Isa Ibn Maryam, the messenger, who was sent by Allah to bring a message to the people. The Quran says he that lived a holy and blameless life, was born of the virgin Mary. He fulfilled all the Jewish prophecies in exact accordance. But one difference, instead of being crucified, he then was taken up by Allah into heaven before the Romans laid hands on him. And he awaits there now in the fourth heaven where at the end of days at the day of judgment he will be revealed to all.
Or is Dr. Smith talking about the Jewish Messiah? The Messiah who has not yet been revealed, that the entire Jewish world is waiting for his revelation. Now, the beautiful thing is that you can hold to any of these beliefs. And we can all still learn together about Messiah. We can learn about our Christian Messiah. We can learn about our Jewish Messiah. We can learn about our Muslim prophet Isa who will be revealed. It doesn’t matter what you believe. You can even be an atheist or agnostic and still learn from this program about Messiah. Now, I have to admit I am a Christian so I approach things, obviously, from a Christian point of view. And I promise you, as we reveal these prophecies, which I believe have all been fulfilled through Jesus Christ. Or will be fulfilled when he comes back, returning in the clouds in the same way he was taken up. I believe that all of this is true, but I promise you I will do my very best to present these prophecies from a neutral point of view. And try to keep my Christian bias to a minimum. Obviously, it will pop up from time to time but I will try to stay only in the Tanakh and try not to get into the New Testament very often. Now, if you want more information about Messiah, we have resources for you.
We have a website which is findingmessiah.org. Now, on that website you are going to find several resources. You will find links to all the videos, all the episodes that we have created so far. You will find links to download the transcripts of any of these episodes. And then you will find a section where you can get more information about Messiah through frequently asked questions. And then there is a section for
donation. If you want to come alongside our ministry at Finding Messiah.
Now, there’s going to come a time in this series where you are going to be confronted with the question: What are you going to do with Messiah? Who do you believe Messiah is? Which of these Messiahs do you believe Dr. Smith is talking about? And Messiah will become real to you if you look at all the information presented and come to your conclusions. So, join us as we continue our journey through the Old Testament Scriptures looking for all the Messianic Prophecies. And join us next time as we reveal those to you.
