Messiah In The Old Testament Episode 11

God’s Redemptive Plan

Welcome to Messiah In The Old Testament. We’re picking up the story today of Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden.

And if you remember last time, we left Adam and Eve in the Garden We went over how Adam was created, some details around his creation. We talked about God creating Adam in his image in his likeness.

We looked at the two Hebrew words for image and likeness. Image istzalm and likeness is – dumoot. Image is like when you look in the mirror and you see your image that would be the word tzalm. You say I see my tzalm in the mirror. If you are out in the mall and you see a bunch of people dressed alike and they look similar to each other, you would say dumoot.

Now God then took some dirt from the earth, it says God used afar min ha adamah, which literally means dust from the earth. And he created man from that. And remember we talked about the potter's clay. The finer the particulate, the better the clay. So, God used the best clay to create man.

And then after he had fashioned him and created him, he blew into his nostrils the breath of life. And remember the word nishmat hayim is the actual physical breath that you breathe in and out every day, nishmat. And then the other word is nefesh and it is nefesh hayah. And that is the breath of life, the spark of life, the spirit of life when God puts the spirit into you. And remember we said that when a baby is conceived that baby receives the nefesh even though it hasn’t taken its first breath yet. And then when the baby is born it takes is first nishmat. And then after Adam was created, brought to life, he was given the assignment to work in the Garden and to tend the Garden. And God brought to him various

1

animals and he named the animals and he was familiar with every animal that was in the Garden. And God saw that he was alone and needed a helper.

So, then God took a rib out of Adam’s flesh, after putting him into a deep sleep, fashioned a woman out of the of the flesh, closed up the side of his chest. And he said this is woman that I made out of man. So that's where we left the story. And remember last time we also talked about the origins of the Garden of Eden and the idea that the sages had that it preexisted the world and existed in the eternity before the world was created. And we are going to get into that a little more in in the latter part of our episode today when we read you some Scripture pertaining to that. Now let's picture that, the Garden, Adam and Eve are tending the Garden, naming the animals. They’re living in this paradise.

The Garden was a very lush garden. It was a very well-watered garden. Now I live in Indiana, everything is well watered in Indiana. In fact, as were filming this, there is a rainstorm going on outside. We have lots of water. We live in a well-watered land. But there are parts of the world where they live in a more arid climate and the land is not as well watered. But this was a well-watered garden. Now, when I lived in Papua New Guinea, we were taught that you can take a poinsettia plant, and take a branch, plug it in the ground without doing anything else and it would grow all by itself. That is what I picture the Garden of Eden being like.

Now, it says that the Garden was full of trees. The trees were fruit trees and the trees were pleasing to the eye and good for food. That was the normal state of affairs for Adam and Eve. They could go up to any tree and eat the fruit and enjoy the fruit. And I believe that there were dozens, hundreds of different kinds of fruit. And Adam and Eve could spend their lifetime sampling the different trees. There were shrubs. There were flowers. There were all kinds of vegetation. There were different kinds of animals. There were insects. There were the creeping animals, the tame animals, the sheep and the cows and the goats. And

2

there were wild animals and they were all living in harmony within the Garden. There were birds. There were fish.

There was water that sprung up from the earth and watered the Garden. And I believe that this probably happened at the center of the Garden and then the river went out from there and it watered the entire Garden. That was the River of Life, and remember it split into the four distributary channels, the Pishon, the Gihon, the Tigris and the Euphrates. So, well-watered land, lush vegetation, they had their pick of any kind of fruit.

Now in the middle of the Garden and I picture this like a grassy knoll or grassy kind of open plain in the middle where all trees were kind of around and in a circle around. And there were these two trees in the middle. The Tree of Life and the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil. Now through the ages the Tree of Life has really taken on its own life and for example if you read the Targum of Rabbi Jonatan ben Uzziel he describes the tree as being so tall that it was a 500-year journey to get from the bottom of the tree to the top of the tree. Obviously, that’s quite fantastical, but the point is that this was a mammoth, giant tree which towered above all the other trees. It was the Tree of Life. The Tree of Life had fruit that could sustain your life forever. If you ate from the tree, you would live forever. And there were different kinds of fruit on the tree. In fact, every month there was a different crop that happened on the tree. And I think that the tree would produce one type one month, another type another month, another type another month. And the leaves on the tree were for healing for the healing of the nations. This was the Paradise that Adam and Eve lived in. Now there is one more character we need to discuss before we go on with the revelation of our Messianic Prophecies and that figure, of course, is Satan. Now there are many religions around the world that pit a good, beneficent spirit versus an evil, malevolent spirit you know the balance of good and evil. Theologians call this a dualistic religion that have good balancing with evil.

3

One of the prime examples of this is the ancient Persian religion. Now we did not go through the Persian creation story back when we were doing all the creation stories. I mean, I researched it, we could have presented it. But I felt that it was kind of erroneous to present that story because of the prophet Zoroaster, probably somewhere around 600 BC, stepped in and subverted all the traditions and created his own religion. He had this revelation from God and he created a monotheistic religion from the pantheistic religion that preexisted. Now it wasn't a true monotheistic religion. There were other gods that were part of the religion but he called them helper gods. There were eight specific helper gods that that helped Ahura Mazda do his job.

Now Ahura Mazda was God and he was balanced with an evil figure. And the name of that evil figure was Angra Mainyu also called Ahriman. And there were demons that were under Ahriman and they were called daevas and there was this battle between good and evil. Now the Zoroastrian religion is ancient. It was is the religion that was practiced during the time of King Darius, of Cyrus the Great, when Esther had her part in the in the history of the Persian kingdom. Now another religion and this religion is in Japan it’s the Shinto religion.

Now Shinto is kind of a specific religion to Japan it’s not really practiced much outside of Japan except for places like Sao Paulo Brazil where there is a collection of Japanese and some of the bigger cities in America. We actually have Shinto shrines and Buddhist shrines because of the practices of the Japanese people. Now in traditional Shinto there is a balance between good and evil. The good in Shinto is called kami, there are multiple kamis, multiple gods, these are good spirits. Now a kami is described as anything that inspires awe.

So, a kami could be a mountain, a landscape, a lake, a river, even a person that inspires awe. So, there's kind of an unlimited number of kamis that that you can have. And then you take your kami and you put them in a shrine.

4

And the Shinto shrines house all the kamis. Now there are estimated to be 80,000 Shinto shrines in Japan. Those are public shrines and then course within your own household you would have a Shinto shrine or a Buddhist shrine or both shrines actually in a lot of households. So Shinto is balancing the good kamis versus evil. Now there are evil spirits in Shinto.

There is a spirit and his name is Akuma and that is the fire spirit. also referred to as the devil. And there are also the Goryo which are the vengeful ghosts of your ancestors. So, the purpose of Shinto is to pacify the evil spirits with the good kamis. And they have many rituals that are responsible for this dominance of good over evil.

If you do your rituals, you will have triumph over the evil spirits. Now in Shinto the majority of rituals happen around the new year. And if you go to Japan during the new year, which would be an awesome time to go, you'll see the Shinto shrines at their peak.

You will see the priest in their garb. You will see the temple maidens, the Miko in their typical red pants and white shirts and it’s a very colorful, very ritualistic religion. Now it’s interesting in Japan that if you're getting married you typically will would go to a Shinto shrine to have your wedding ceremony in the peaceful garden.

Now there are many peaceful gardens in Japan but some of them are actually Zen Gardens which are the Buddhist gardens. In Japan typically you will have your funeral at the Buddhist temple.

So, marriage is in the Shinto shrine, your funeral at the Buddhist Temple. Now Islam is a very complex religion and it’s hard to pin down an actual dualistic system.

Now Satan appears in the Quran many, many times. In fact, I put together a table. And the table is of Al-Shaitan or Satan, also his personal name is Iblis, about all of his different appearances and

5

characteristics. So, his name in the Quran is Al-Shaitan, the Enemy or Iblis and you can find that in Sura 2:208.

Satan is a Jinn in the Quran. A jinn is a spiritual being. A jinn has freedom to choose, so has free will. Angels in the Quran do not have free will, they do not have the ability to choose between good and evil. And he’s specifically called out as a Jinn and that’s in Sura 18:50. His origin is, all jinns are created from a fusion of fire or created from fire. And that’s in Sura 55:15. He was given the job of being the ruler over all the angels. So, Al-Shaitan was the jinn in charge of all the angels and that's found in Sura 18:50.

After Allah created man, created Adam from clay, a very similar story to what we have in the Old Testament. God was so proud of his achievement, of his creation, that he ordered all the angels to bow down to Adam which they obediently did. They did not have free will to disobey what God said. Satan said, “No, I'm not going to bow down. I am so much better than man. I was created from fire and man was created from clay.” So, Satan refused to bow down. So, God was angry at Satan. So, Allah punished him and he condemned him to be placed in hell for the rest of his existence. Satan pleaded with Allah and he was allowed to stay on the earth. So, the story of him refusing to bow down to Adam was in Sura 2:29-39. Where he was condemned to hell was Sura 67:5-7. So, God relented and said to Satan that it’s okay for you to live on the earth among men and that was Sura 15:36-38. And then the final thing is what is Satan’s job or behavior now. And his behavior is to tempt and corrupt men. And the prime example of that is when he tempted Adam and Eve to sin and that’s found in Sura 19:22 [Sura 17:19-22]. So, a very well-developed concept of Satan in Islam. Now in the Jewish religion and consequently the Christian religion, because you know the Christian religion follows after the Jewish religion. And Satan appears in the Tanakh and is not a very frequent occurrence where Satan appears. There is one specific story and the sages used this story to describe Satan's nature.

6

Now Satan was in the earth and Satan had the ability to roam the earth according to Job. And one day God called for all of the sons of God to assemble or the angels to assemble and Satan was there with them. And God said, “Look at my man Job. He is righteous and he follows me with all his heart.” And Satan said, “Oh, I can tempt him.” So, Satan was allowed to tempt him. And then Satan was allowed to take his health, takes his wealth, take his children, take everything away from him. And Satan said that he would curse God and die. And God stood by Job. Now we’re going to get into that story obviously in the future as we get to it.

But because of that story, a lot of the sages said that Satan wasn't really a malevolent angel of darkness or evil or demon or whatever. They said that the Satan was a trickster. Kind like in the Norse mythology we have Loki or in the Greek mythology where we have Hermes or in Navajo mythology where you have the coyote. These are tricksters. They said that Satan was a trickster and that he reported to God and that he wasn't really in total opposition to God. In fact, he worked for God, kind of as a spy, to spy on Job. But as time went on, the opinion of Satan as a trickster changed to Satan as a more malevolent evil spirit. As the Jewish idea moved away from Satan as a trickster into Satan as a more malevolent spirit, this happened at the time that Christianity was taking shape and taking form. So, Christianity took from the Jewish religion this idea of Satan as a more malevolent evil spirit. And I think that's also what Mohammed incorporated into the Quran and what other writers were involved in [the writing of the] Quran, incorporated Satan as a more malevolent spirit.

Now in the New Testament, Satan is referred to as Diablos or the devil. and he is a ruler over fallen demons. He is described as a serpent, as a dragon, as a raging lion. It is said that he roams the earth seeking those whom he can devour. And he came to steal and kill and destroy. He ruled over death and was the angel of death.

Now I’m going to read you a passage that is going to tell us more about Satan. And that passage is found in Ezekiel chapter 28. Now, this is a

7

lament that Ezekiel sings specifically about the King of Tyre. But it is considered that the King of Tyre was a type for Satan. And this lament is referring to Satan.

“‘You were the model of perfection, full of wisdom and perfect in beauty. You were in Eden, the garden of God; every precious stone adorned you: ruby, topaz and emerald, chrysolite, onyx and jasper, sapphire, turquoise and beryl. Your settings and mountings were made of gold; on the day you were created they were prepared. You were anointed as a guardian cherub, for so I ordained you. You were on the holy mount of God; you walked among the fiery stones. You were blameless in your ways from the day you were created till wickedness was found in you. Through your widespread trade you were filled with violence, and you sinned. So, I drove you in disgrace from the mount of God, and I expelled you, O guardian cherub, from among the fiery stones. Your heart became proud on account of your beauty, and you corrupted your wisdom because of your splendor. So, I threw you to the earth; I made a spectacle of you before kings. By your many sins and dishonest trade, you have desecrated your sanctuaries. So, I made a fire come out from you, and it consumed you, and I reduced you to ashes on the ground in the sight of all who were watching. All the nations who knew you are appalled at you; you have come to a horrible end and will be no more.’”

Now in this lament, Ezekiel refers to Satan as a Guardian Cherub. So that was his job. And if you remember in Genesis and we will get to this in a little bit, there were Guardian Cherubs who had swords that flashed back and forth. They were the ones that kept Adam and Eve from coming back into the Garden. Those were guardian cherubs, they called them the Cherubim, plural of cherub. So, Satan was one of those Guardian Cherubs that had the flashing sword. He was on the Holy Mountain of God and he walked amongst the Fiery Stones. If you look at the Hebrew, it says literally they are stones of fire and it refers basically to like precious stones that had a fire to them or had a radiance

8

or glow to them, but the Fiery Stones on the Mount of God. So, Satan had full access to God, full access to the Mountain and full access to Eden which is referred to as the Garden of God, which is God's own private Garden. And this is the Garden that I talked about before. The sages believe that this Garden was taken from the Holy Mount and transferred, implanted in the east, on the earth and that's how they came up with their idea. And besides what was written in the midrash about the Garden of Eden created before the world. Now Satan became proud because of his beauty, because all the jewels that were found on him, the gold mounts. And he had his inflated opinion of himself and he felt that he was better than God. So, he rose above God in pride and arrogance and tried to take God's place. And that is why God threw him down to the earth. Some believe that when Satan fell, 1/3 of the angels [of heaven] were thrown down with him to the earth. And that’s where the demons come from. I personally believe that Satan was banished from the Mountain of God. He was banished from God's presence and he was thrown to the earth just like Ezekiel 28 says. And he was thrown into the waters of earth and that is what was crating all the chaos at the beginning. Remember it said ‘In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. The earth was void and without form and full of chaos, tohoo vu bohoo. Now, let's get back to our story.

Adam and Eve are living in the Garden of Eden. They are naming the animals. They are tending the Garden. They are actually, I think, expanding the Garden beyond its borders. Now that the Garden was guarded by these Cherubim, so they were safe from any outsiders coming in. Satan would not have access to the Garden. Satan would not be able to get into the Garden. So, he used an agent in his place and that would be the serpent. Now I believe that the serpent was acting for Satan. Now some believe that Satan took the form of a serpent and that's how he got into the Garden. Some say that he possessed the serpent and that's how he had access to Adam and Eve. But Satan in his cherubim form was not able to get into the Garden. He was kept out by the Guardian Cherubim and their flashing swords. So, he used the snake as his agent to get into the Garden.

9

Now God told Adam and Eve that they could eat from any tree in the Garden, except one single tree. That was the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil. Now we know from Scripture that the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil was just like all the other trees except, of course, for the Tree of Life which was unique and different.

But all the trees were pleasing to the eye and good for food. And God said you can eat from any of those trees that are pleasing to the eye and good for food, except that one. And if they were going every day to eat from the Tree of Life, to eat the fruit that was available that day, if the other tree was in the middle with the Tree of Life, they obviously would see the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil. And I'm sure there was always that curiosity in that whole, I wonder what it would be like the from the tree, I wonder what would happen if we ate the fruit from that tree. Now, Satan used the serpent to approach Adam and Eve.

So, let's read Genesis chapter 3:1-19 together, now.

Now the serpent was more crafty than any of the wild animals the LORD God had made. He said to the woman, “Did God really say, ‘You must not eat from any tree in the garden’?”

Kind of hearkening to ‘You can eat from any tree that is pleasing to the eye and good for food.’

The woman said to the serpent, “We may eat fruit from the trees in the garden, but God did say, ‘You must not eat fruit from the tree that is in the middle of the garden, and you must not touch it, or you will die.’”

So, Eve is iterating to the serpent what she knows in her mind and what should have been in her heart, that you don't even touch that tree or the fruit on the tree, don’t even think about that tree. But Satan through the serpent says to her:

10

“You will not surely die,” the serpent said to the woman. “For God knows that when you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.” When the woman saw that the fruit of the tree was good for food and pleasing to the eye, (just like all the other trees) and also desirable for gaining wisdom.

So, this tree was above the other trees because, not only was it good for food, the delicious fruit, but also, she could gain wisdom of the Knowledge of Good and Evil. So, knowledge would come from eating.

she took some and ate it. She also gave some to her husband (Adam), who was with her, and he ate it.

So, Adam was not on some other side of the Garden doing his thing and came upon Eve and said Oh my God woman, what you’ve done? No, he was there with her and he assented to this whole act.

Then the eyes of both of them were opened, and they realized they were naked; so, they sewed fig leaves together and made coverings for themselves. Then the man and his wife heard the sound of the LORD God as he was walking in the garden in the cool of the day, and they hid from the LORD God among the trees of the garden.

Now do you think God would realize that something was up when usually they ran out to meet him and probably embrace him and talk to him. But instead, they were cowering behind the trees.

But the LORD God called to the man, “Where are you?” He answered, “I heard you in the garden, and I was afraid because I was naked; so, I hid.” And he said, “Who told you that you were naked? Have you eaten from the tree that I commanded you not to eat from?”

11

Of course, God knew from his behavior that he had.

The man said, “The woman you put here with me—she gave me some fruit from the tree, and I ate it.”

Adam blamed the woman of course.

Then the LORD God said to the woman, “What is this you have done?” The woman said, “The serpent deceived me, and I ate.”

So, then she blames the serpent. I'm sure the serpent went on to blame Satan.

So, the Lord God said to the serpent,

And this is highlighted and in purple text in my copy. And this is how I lay it out in my book, Messiah in the Old Testament. This is the prophetic section so are you ready?

So, the LORD God said to the serpent, “Because you have done this, “Cursed are you above all the livestock and all the wild animals! You will crawl on your belly and you will eat dust all the days of your life. And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring and hers; he will crush your head, and you will strike his heel.” To the woman he said, “I will greatly increase your pains in childbearing; with pain you will give birth to children. Your desire will be for your husband, and he will rule over you.” To Adam he said, “Because you listened to your wife and ate from the tree about which I commanded you, ‘You must not eat of it,’ “Cursed is the ground because of you; through painful toil you will eat of it all the days of your life. It will produce thorns and thistles for you, and you will eat the plants of the field.

12

Not the gorgeous, beautiful, delicious fruit from the Garden no no no no you'll be eating the plants of the field. So now you're reduced to broccoli and lettuce.

By the sweat of your brow, you will eat your food until you return to the ground, since from it you were taken; for dust you are and to dust you will return.”

So that's Genesis chapter 3:1-19. The serpent reasoned with the woman, tried to appeal to the woman's curiosity of the fruit and worked his way. And he convinced her that Elohim's words were not strictly true. They were, of course, true. How can you deny Elohim's word. But Elohim is using these words to try to keep something from you. Little did Eve know that she already possessed the Knowledge of Good and Evil. She already was like God. She was created in his image in his likeness. Little did she know that when she ate from the tree, she was not gaining anything, she was losing everything. So, I believe Adam and Eve when they were living in the Garden and naming the animals and doing their thing that God clothed them with his Glory. So, they did not need clothes. They do not know they were naked. All they could see was God's glory. And when Eve sinned that glory was stripped away and that revealed their nakedness. So, the only remedy that Adam could think of was to go grab some fig leaves and quickly sew them together.

Now I’m going to read from my book Messiah in the Old Testament for this is the summation of everything that we've been talking about in this session.

Adam and Eve traded eternal life in paradise for a lie. The momentary pleasure of the forbidden fruit and their newfound knowledge immediately gave way to death. The first casualty in the Garden that day was the death of God's blessing on them when he said be fruitful and multiply. The blessing of fruitfulness and multiplication was taken away.

13

So now this was replaced with a curse, the blessing was replaced with curses, actually multiple curses, pain in childrearing, you have to tend the Garden and eat the plants of the field.

Yet even while condemning Adam and Eve to increased work, pain and death, God provided a glimmer of Messianic Redemption for their future offspring. One would come from the seed of Eve who would face suffering at the bite of the serpent. He would in turn then crush the serpent's head in ultimate defeat. The prophetic word uttered by Elohim in the Garden that day provides three characteristics of the coming Messiah. First, he will be born of a woman.

He would be human. He would be from the human race.

Second, the serpent will strike him, meaning that he's going to suffer torture under Satan's regime.

So, when Messiah came in human form he would be beaten by Satan.

Third, he then will be able to turn the tide he will crush the serpent's head meaning that he is going to put Satan under his control and ultimately defeat him. God's prophecy in Genesis chapter 3 injected hoping to Adams fallen world. Messiah will come to restore mankind's fellowship with their creator and again clothe them in his glory. Messiah will restore mankind's blessing and remove the curse. God and men and women will walk again together at the cool of the day and share their intimate thoughts, hopes and dreams. Men and women, currently marred and sullied by sin and shame will then be clothed with righteousness. Now Satan gained knowledge of the coming Messiah from the prophetic words that Elohim spoke in the Garden that day. And this began a millennia long struggle between Satan, the deceiver, and God's precious creation. Satan has been driven to kill all of Eve’s offspring to prevent Messiah from coming.

14

If he could kill the seed, then no one would emerge that would crush his head.

So, we have covered now five messianic prophecies. Number one, Messiah, as part of Elohim, is the creator of new life. Number two, Messiah, as pictured by the white ram in the Garden is going to be willing to lay down and sacrifice himself on the altar to take the place for the punishment of our sins. Number three, Messiah will take on human form and come as Immanuel, God with us. He's going to take on human form and walk on the earth. And then he's going to suffer under Satan's regime and Messiah will be tortured and beaten. He will suffer as the suffering servant. Then finally, the fifth prophecy, Messiah will conquer Satan’s regime and he will become the conquering king who will then come and set up his eternal kingdom. When all this is done, you and I will again have fellowship with our creator. You and I will again be clothed in glory. You and I will again have the ability to walk and talk and fellowship with our Creator and share our most intimate thoughts together. Now if all you had were these first five prophecies, what more could you possibly need. That presents the entire redemptive plan and in very simple terms and that's all within the first three books of the Bible. In Genesis 1,2 and 3, the redemptive plan is all laid out for you. So now you are going to have to at some point make some sort of judgment about this redemptive plan and how this redemptive plan applies to you. Now join us next week, we are going to move in a little bit different vein. We are going to about talk about the sacrificial system that existed in the Old Testament. And this is going to be a very fascinating discussion. So, join me next time as we continue looking at Messiah in the Old Testament.

Thank you for watching our show today. We hope that you enjoyed watching it as much as we enjoyed bringing it to you. Now, after watching this episode you might be saying to yourself, “Who is this Messiah that Dr. Smith is talking about?

15

Is he talking about the Christian Messiah? Is he talking about Jesus Christ, the Son of God, who was born of the Virgin Mary. And then lived a blameless and holy life on the earth, And then was tortured and crucified. And after he died he then was resurrected from the dead after three days. Then after people witnessed this, he was then taken up bodily by Elohim into heaven from the Mount of Olives.

Or is Dr. Smith talking about the Muslim prophet Isa. Isa Ibn Maryam, the messenger, who was sent by Allah to bring a message to the people. The Quran says he that lived a holy and blameless life, was born of the virgin Mary. He fulfilled all the Jewish prophecies in exact accordance. But one difference, instead of being crucified, he then was taken up by Allah into heaven before the Romans laid hands on him. And he awaits there now in the fourth heaven where at the end of days at the day of judgment he will be revealed to all.

Or is Dr. Smith talking about the Jewish Messiah? The Messiah who has not yet been revealed, that the entire Jewish world is waiting for his revelation. Now, the beautiful thing is that you can hold to any of these beliefs. And we can all still learn together about Messiah. We can learn about our Christian Messiah. We can learn about our Jewish Messiah. We can learn about our Muslim prophet Isa who will be revealed. It doesn’t matter what you believe. You can even be an atheist or agnostic and still learn from this program about Messiah. Now, I have to admit I am a Christian so I approach things, obviously, from a Christian point of view. And I promise you, as we reveal these prophecies, which I believe have all been fulfilled through Jesus Christ. Or will be fulfilled when he comes back, returning in the clouds in the same way he was taken up. I believe that all of this is true, but I promise you I will do my very best to present these prophecies from a neutral point of view. And try to keep my Christian bias to a minimum. Obviously, it will pop up from time to time but I will try to stay only in the Tanakh and try not to get into the New Testament very often. Now, if you want more information about Messiah, we have resources for you.

16

We have a website which is findingmessiah.org. Now, on that website you are going to find several resources. You will find links to all the videos, all the episodes that we have created so far. You will find links to download the transcripts of any of these episodes. And then you will find a section where you can get more information about Messiah through frequently asked questions. And then there is a section for donation. If you want to come alongside our ministry at Finding Messiah.

Now, there’s going to come a time in this series where you are going to be confronted with the question: What are you going to do with Messiah? Who do you believe Messiah is? Which of these Messiahs do you believe Dr. Smith is talking about? And Messiah will become real to you if you look at all the information presented and come to your conclusions. So, join us as we continue our journey through the Old Testament Scriptures looking for all the Messianic Prophecies. And join us next time as we reveal those to you.
