Opinion We think Charles Perrault is telling the truth because he wrote the story and it is the original fairy tale. I think the fractured version is not telling the truth because it is a copy. So that’s why we think Charles Perrault is telling the truth.

Summary of Cinderella fractured fairy tale Once upon a time there was a girl called Ci derella ho’s dad a a do her a d her step other a d stepsister’s stayed ith Cinderella. She was REALLY annoying because she ALWAYS tolled stories. One day they invited all the to to a all. She did ’t k e hat to put so a stranger got her a dress. In the ball she danced with the prince. When she went she forgot her glass slipper and the prince looked for her in all the kingdom. they lived happily ever after.

SUMMARY ORIGINAL STORY Once there was a man who married his second wife, the proudest woman that was ever seen. She had two children who were exactly like her. That man had a daughter called Cinderella, who was very beautiful. But the wife and her daughters could not tolerate that, and they started to mistreat her. One day, the prince organized a ball at his castle, and Cinderella asked if she cou ld go, but the only thing the stepmother and the stepsisters did was laugh and leave her alone in the house. Cinderella cried for a long time, ut the , sudde ly Ci derella’s fairy god other appeared a d ga e her a eautiful dress and a carriage to go to the ball. She went to the ball and everyone was amused with her dress, but she left before the clock struck midnight because all her things were going to disappear. Then, the next day, the prince announced that someone had forgotten a glass slipper and that he would marry the o e ho’s foot ould fit the slipper. Ci derella’s stepsisters tried it o ut it did ’t fit, a d then Cinderella tried it on and it fit! The prince married Cinderella, and her stepmother and stepsister told her to please forgive them, and she did. After that, Cinderella and the prince lived happily ever after. BIOGRAPHY One normal day on 1628, a brilliant person called Charles Perrault was born in Paris, France. He had 6 brothers and a mother and a father. When he grew up, he studied at the Academie Françoise and became a really famous author, and wrote a lot of books you might know, such as Puss in Boots, Bluebeard, and Little Red Riding Hood. He married a girl called Marie Guichon. He died in 1703 at the age of 75.

SUMMARY FRACTURED STORY Once there was a lady that wanted a good husband and a mansion. She married him and she became Ci dy’s step other. At first, the lady did ’t mind, but Cindy talked a lot and the stepmother and stepsisters got tired of her. She always told such foolish stories, and that even made it more annoying. Then, one day, the prince organized a all at his astle. It as the ha e for the step other’s daughters to marry the prince! Cindy asked if she could go, but the stepmother said she ould ’t a d left her i the dirty mansion. The stepsisters were dancing until a beautiful girl appeared and the prince started dancing with her. The next day, the prince announced that someone had left a glass slipper and that he would marry the o e ho’s foot fit i the slipper. The stepsisters tried it o ut it did ’t fit, a d the Ci dy tried it o a d it fit! The pri e did ’t k o hat he got hi self i to, ut the step other a d stepsisters li ed happily ever after.  MORAL: Ne er judge people if you do ’t k o the , e ause they

ay ot e as you thi k.

HOW DOES PERSPECTIVE CHANGE A STORY? In this fairytale perspective changes the story because the original version does not have so much fantasy and the fractures version does. It uses many unreal things like talking animals or lots of magic; instead, the original story just has the fairy godmother that helps Cinderella. Another difference is that i the fra tured ersio the stepsisters a d the step other do ’t ask her to forgi e the a d i the origi al they do. Also i the origi al story the step other does ’t e e like Ci derella at the egi i g a d i the fra tures story she does. I the origi al story Ci derella is ot as a oyi g as the stepmother says and in the fractured version she is. Another thing is that in the original version she needs to leave before midnight and in the fractured versio she does ’t. I the origi al story the step other a d the stepsisters respe t her after the pri e a d i the fra tured they do ’t. The last thing is that in the fractured version, an image shows Cinderella annoying the prince and in the original versio she does ’t.

WHO IS TELLING THE TRUTH? We think that in the original story they are saying the truth because it was told by the real person who invented the real story he need to actually know what happen on the real story because he wrote it and he is the one who does not have any mistakes, To another thing we think the original is the one that say’s the truth is e ause that is the story that as ritte y the real author a d all the story e t from his

This story is about the amazing story of a mermaid. Yes, you got it is the Little Mermaid. {original story} The principal characters of this story are the little mermaid and the prince little mermaid sisters and the water witch. {Ursula}. There is a big problem in the little mermaid that was that she wanted to go to the surface, she wanted to see new things but she didn’t know what was waiting for her. This problem occurred because Ariel needed to sacrifice her tail and her voice to go to the surface. It also occurred because Ariel wanted her tail back in order to do that she needed to kill the prince. It also occurred because she wanted to swim again. This story took place in a underwater kingdom, in the land and in a ship. This story happened a long, long time ago during several days. Those several days, there was unexpected stuff that the little mermaid didn’t think about it happening. The problem was solved because the little mermaid didn’t kill the prince for her tail instead she killed herself by throwing the knife had to kill the prince and fall of the top of the boat into land killing herself.

The author of this fractured story is Nancy Loewen. She was born the 20 of June of 1964 and she is still alive and she is 52 years old.

The moral of this story is that don’t do joke that can heart other people feelings. Is important because you heart other people feelings’. I think that the moral also is other one. The other moral doesn’t do mean jokes to other people. You can heart people by many ways. Also simple things are heartful and mean. Think that simple things can hurt feelings.

This fractured story had a big problem that was that Prince Aleck wanted to do a fake wedding so his friends stop bothering him about Marlina who is the mermaid and his friends didn’t know that it was a wedding so he marries the wrong women. This story happened in the present taking place for a few days. The problem occurred because his friends bother him so he got angry and pretended married. The characters are prince Aleck Marlina Aleck friends Kim and the parents. This story took place in a beach and in a ship. They solved this problem because Marlina saved Prince Aleck and also because they made the fake wedding. This story ending is that he thought he saw Marlina face in the water and that is when he started to believe that mermaids are real.

My opinion of this story is that is very cool and funny. I also liked this book because is another point of view of the real story. This is really cool because is amazing how they make a story that tells the point of view of an original story. My Opinion is that the prince shouldn’t do that. My opinion is that is very cool how he ignored Marlina.

How does perspective changes the story? Between the two stories in the original one she kills herself. In the fractured version she doesn’t kill herself. In the original story she needed to kill the prince in order to get her tail back. In the fractured version there is a fake wedding and in the original not. The fractured story has something in similar with the true one that is the next one. In this stories they needed to sacrifice their voice and tail. Other similarities is that in the both stories the mermaids save the prince. In the fractured story the prince makes a lot of jokes to people.

SUMMARY FRACTOR FAIRYTALE THIS Opinion IS A STORY OFperspective ONE KING AND QUEEN THAT HAD A BABY NAMED AURORA. THEY WERE SO and point HAPPYreferences THEY DID A PARTY IN HER HONOR. THEY INVITED THE FAIRIES BUT DID NOT INVITE ofALLview ME. THEY THOUGHT THAT I WAS BAD BECAUSE I ALWAYS MESSED UP THE WORDS SO IT Perspective HAPPENED THINGS THAT WERE NOT SUPPOSED TO HAPPEN. SO I WANTED TO DO A GIFT FOR THE PRINCESS. SO I WENT TO THE CASTLE AND WEANTED TO GIVE MY PRESENT TO THE PRINCESS BUT THEY DIDN’T LET ME IN. SO I DID A SPELL OF GOODNESS BUT I SAID IT WRONG. SO THEN THE PRINCESS TURN TO SLEEP THEN IN LONG TIME A PRINCE CAME AND KISSED AURORA AND SHE WAKED UP AND MARRIED THE PRINCE.

Summary original This is a tale OF A JEALOUS OGRe, A BEAUTIGUL GIRL AND A MEAN COURSE. THE STORY BEGGINS IN MEDIEV TIMES ,AND BEGGINS IN A BEAUTIFUL CASTLE. THE OGRE WAS VERY JEALOUS BECAUSE OF THE BEAUTY OF AURORA WHO WAS THE PRINCESS. SHE WANTED TO EA AURORA”S CHILDREN TO GET REVENGE ON AURORa. the problem is that aurora fell into a sleeping spell of the bad fairy. The other problem is that the mom of the prince is an ogre and she wants to eat aurora and his kids. Now the story began in the castle of the king and the queen

Perspective changes the story in four points: Characters: characters change the with their perspective because each of does characters have a different story of what they are talking about. Author: the author can do a character bad or good and put the the character into a problem or situation that is need to be solved. Point of view: the point of view is very important for the story and characters because all the characters in the story have a different thing to say about the story of what is happening. Solution: if there is a problem in a story then it needs to be a solution {not always but most of the time} so in some of the stories there are like the same story but with changes. So there are different problems and solutions

Opinion CAMILA: that the book is really cool and that it is pretty violent but it is very interesting. I think that IT IS VERY ROMANTIC AND THAT HAS LOT OF FANTASY. I THINK THAT IT IS VERY DRAMATIC AND IT SHOULD OF HAVE MORE REALITY. WELL I TJINK IT VERY COOL THE SRTORY BUT IT HAS THINGS THAT I DON’T LIKE. I WOULD CHANGE THAT THE PRINCE KISSES AURORA AND THAT SHE TALCKS TO ANIMALS. BUT I WOULD RECOMMEND IT TO OTHER PEOLPLE BECAUSE IT IS A BOOK THAT IS WORTH TO READ.

MARILYN: I THINK THAT THIS STORY IS GRAET BUT I WOULD CHANGE SOME THINGS LIKE THE COURSE I WOULD PUT ANOTHER COURSE THAT WAS MORE EVIL. I THINK THAT THE AUTHOR SHOULD PUT LITTLE OF MORE ACTION IN THE CHARACTERS. I WOULD NOT PUT THE TIME WHEN THE PRINCE GOES TO WAR OR THAT HER MOM WAS AN OGRE. BUT I DID LIKE THE STORY ALTHOUGH IT WAS A BIR OF DRAMATIC BUT IT IS VERY GOOD. I THINK THAT I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS STORY TO PEOLPLE BECAUSE I

MORAL: “WAIT FOR LOVE BECAUSE THERE IS ONLY ONE PERSON THAT IS REALLY YOUR TRUE LOVE” Who is telling the true? we think that the one who is telling the truth is the bad fairy and her sister. We think that because the story of the bad fairy is more believable than the one of aurora. We think that it’s important to know the real story that people think that they know to proof that they are wrong.

Famous books, stories, poems Charles Perrault is known for writing Puss in Boots , Bluebeard , Little Red Riding Hood , etc.

Who is telling the truth? In the story Sleeping Beauty, we think that the fractured version is the truth. We think that it is more likely that an old fairy was trying to bless a child when she stumbled on words. But it was a careless mistake, although she tried her best to fix it. Stella a.k.a. the bad fairy sounds too mean in the other story. Stella is so sweet and it doesn’t seem that she would lie.

LOL !!!!!

How does perspective change the story? Any story changes depending on the perspective of the character telling the story, and the perspective of each character depends on the characteristics of the character such as its point of view, opinion, personality, flaws and experience. In the fractured version of the story, the flaws and mistakes of the old fairy caused the curse of Sleeping Beauty whereas in the original version, the curse was caused by the evilness of the old fairy, not by its mistakes, dramatically changing the morality of the story. Therefore, different versions of the same story can have both differences and similarities. In the case of the original vs. the fractured version of Sleeping Beauty, we can find the following differences and similarities: Differences: the nature of the curse by the old fairy (as explained in the previous paragraph), the reason why it took 100 years to break the curse (in the fractured version, the old fairy ran out of patience, and in the original version the reason had nothing to do with the patience of the old fairy). Finally, in the fractured version the Prince’s Mother does not appear in the story. Similarities: in both versions there is a curse, in both versions there is a Prince that saves the Beauty, and in both stories the Prince and the Beauty fall in love.

Summary (Sleeping Beauty): ORIGINAL VERSION There was a king and queen who could never have children, when one day, they had a baby girl and they named her Aurora. They had a big feast and invited all the fairies that they could find and one fairy was left behind. The fairy still came to the party and she was outraged. She cursed Aurora that when the sun sets on her 16th birthday, she will prick her finger on the spindle of a spinning wheel and fall into a sleep like death. The fairy’s sister was a good fairy and reversed the curse saying that she will indeed prick her finger on the spindle of a spinning wheel and fall into a sleep for 100 years until a prince comes to awaken her. 100 years passed and a prince came, kissed Aurora and she woke up.

Summary Continuation They later got married and had 2 kids, Dawn and Day. The prince didn’t tell his parents he was married and had 2 kids because he thought that this mother wouldn’t approve of it. 2 years passed and the Prince’s father died and he was crowned king. That is when he told the kingdom he had kids and was married. One day, the king had gone to war and the Prince’s mother told her servant that she wanted to eat Dawn for diner because she was an ogre and still had ogre instincts. Then she asked for Day and Aurora to eat. The smart servant tricked the queen every time by feeding her lamb instead of them. One day, she found out that she had been tricked, and asked her minions to kill Aurora and her children along with the servant by dropping them into a vat full of poisonous snakes. The second she was about to drop them in, the King showed up. The ogre in shame decided to commit suicide by jumping in the vat. The King was very sorry and apologized to his family.

Summary (Sleeping Beauty): FRACTURED VERSION There was an old fairy that was once the King’s favorite. But once she got old, she started messing up her spells and creating a mess, so when the King had a baby girl she wasn’t invited. She felt bad but she still went to the party and as she was trying to bless Aurora, she fumbled on words and cursed her by mistake. She said, On her 16th birthday, she will prick her finger on a magic spinning wheel and her wound will stand for the suffering of the people in her kingdom and will remind them to be kind . Don’t worry, when you die, your tears will comfort people (the fairy actually meant to say when you cry). The good fairy changed the spell by saying, The princess shall not die, but she will prick her finger and sleep for 100 years until a prince comes to awaken her . The old fairy had no choice but to put the whole kingdom to sleep and created walls around the kingdom. The old fairy waited 100 years, and eventually, the old fairy ran out of patience. She blessed a prince with courage and opened the walls for him. The prince kissed the princess and they fell in love and got married. 3

Summary: The main characters are the triton king, the little mermaid, grandmother and the prince. The not so important characters are the five sisters, the ocean witch, and the wife of the prince. The main problem is that the little mermaid wants to go to the surface and marry the prince. There are many problems some of them are that the prince marries other women, the little mermaid sells her voice to the witch so she could have legs, she can´t get her legs back. The story happened like in medieval times. Some text evidence is that there is a prince, there is a castle, and a princess and the mermaids were a very popular myth in that time. The main setting is the castle were the prince lives. There many settings such as the boat were the prince marries, the little mermaid house and the evil witch cave. The main problem is that she asks the evil witch to turn her tail into legs. The other problems are also solved, like when the princes marry the other women the little mermaid feels really sad, and so because the prince married another woman she a ’t get her tail back and so the last problem is solved that the sisters give her a blade too kill the prince. Some other fairy tales

People say that this fairy tale was a work of art from Charles Perrault created in the 17th century, but other people also say it may have been written by the 11th century. Little Red Riding Hood has ancient origins.

This fairy tale was written to teach young girls the dangers of being alone. Charles wanted them to focus more about wise and not wise behavior.

Some other fairy tales he wrote are, Sleeping Beauty, Puss in Boots, Blue Beard, The fairies, Cinderella, Ricky of the Tuff, and Little Thumb.

How does perspective changes the story

In little red riding hood story perspective changes a lot the story. A very obvious difference in both storys is that in the original story the wolf eats little red ridding hood and her grandma because he was evil, but in the fractured version he eats them because he was hungry and they both looked like apples. Also in the fractured fairy , the wolftelling fairy tale, the wolf is vegetarian. Without telling that red riding hood was conceited. And a very important point is that that little red riding hood grandma was not sick, what changed a lot the story because in the original story the whole problem begins because the grandma was sick But not all is different in both storys is different. Something that happens in both storys is that the wolf eat both and no one saved them. Also little red riding hood was taking food to her grandma.

Who is telling the truth

Who is telling the truth?! I think the narrator who is narrating the original version, is telling the truth. I think this because it´s more realistic since no wolf is vegetarian. Also because in the fractured version it never says that the grandmother is sick and that is the main reason why this story happened. I also think the narrator is the telling the truth since it is teaching a lesson which is that young girls must not be all alone with a man with not wise behavior. When however, in the fractured version there is no lesson taught. Unless the lesson was that if you dress up with a red cape someone might confuse you with an apple and eat you.

Then he dreamed a mermaid saved him. Since that day he keep calling the girl Marlina for the big fish marlin. She could teach kids how to swim and dive in an instant. Then his friends keep bothering him telling him that he would go to swim with Marlina. Then he thought of a plan he would invite a girl he met at his party, he text her and started dating he would keep hanging out with Marlina but only as friends. At a party his father made he made a big announcement, they are going to be married. He thought that his friend would think the mermaid was a joke and announce it was a fake wedding, but they gave him a fake wedding they gave him a nose shaped pencil sharpener and a box full of chattering teeth as wedding gifts; Marlina disapeared. THE LITTLE MERMAID

Perspective determines how things are described in a story. The perspective is very inportant because you don´t know who is telling the real story. One similarity is that the prince married another women who wasnt Marlina or the mermaid. A diferences is thet on the real story the mermaid had sisters. Another diference is that the mermaid had to kill the prince so she doesnt die and turn into sea foam. Another similarities are that they have a sea witch but on the fractured version they only talked about her. Another similarity is that on both stories the mermaid is mute. Another similarity is that on both stories the mermaid fail at getting the prime’s love.
