Center Director Notes… Dear Friends: Thanks to all of you who helped make the holidays a little brighter by donating a gift, a song or even just a smile. No matter how many differences we may have, we always have more in common than what we think. Let’s be grace-filled with each other even if we don’t always agree. This holiday season, I want to thank the dedicated staff and volunteers. Donelson Station is very blessed to have a creative and caring team of staff and volunteers. They work hard to make sure your center is a welcoming place that offers opportunities for friendship, learning and fun. By now members should have received a wonderfully designed card from a FiftyForward Adult Day Services member asking for support. While membership fees offset some of the building costs, it does not cover everything. I ask that you please consider making a year-end tax deductible contribution. Happy Holidays! We have a jam-packed December full of wonderful trips. I have just a few things to mention about our upcoming trips. Shadowbrook Mansion and Watermelon Moon Farm only have 15 total spots available (we will not be able to add an additional van), but make sure to put your name on the waiting list if we are full. I have 25 tickets to the Shinndig, the holiday event sponsored by the Shinn Foundation, so we will be able to take two vans (Yay)!! I encourage you all to purchase a ticket to our benefit concert on Dec. 13. We have been waiting so long to replace the computers in our computer lab and this is our chance.
