Medication Reminder Tips Taking your medications as prescribed is key for your good health. Follow these tips to keep your medications on schedule: 1. Use a weekly pillbox: A weekly pillbox reminds you which medications you need to take. It also helps to prevent double doses. 2. Consider using our mail-order pharmacy: Mail-order pharmacy services send your medications directly to your home, making refilling your prescription easier. For more information, visit www.fideliscare.org/mailorderpharmacy. 3. Ask your family or friends for help: Your family or friends can help you create a medication plan. 4. Keep your medications visible: Keep your medications where you can easily find them. You’re more likely to forget about medications that are stored out of sight.

Fidelis Care is Here to Help You Keep Your Coverage! Every year, Fidelis Care Dual Advantage members who are enrolled in the New York State Medicaid Program must renew the Medicaid portion of their coverage.
Extended Member Services Hours Through February 14, 2018:
Before it’s time to renew, Dual Advantage members will receive a notice in the mail from their local Department of Social Services with everything they need to know about renewing their coverage.

Medicare Advantage members do not have to go through a renewal process to keep their current coverage from year to year, but they are able to change their Medicare Advantage plans during the Annual Election Period, which runs from October 15 to December 7. Get Your Flu and Pneumonia Shots Now Now is the time to get your yearly flu shot, as flu season runs through at least early spring. Adults over 65 years old should also get a pneumonia shot at least once in their lives. Adults over 65 are most at risk for flu or pneumonia complications, making it especially important for older adults to get the shots. You can get both shots at the same time, as long as you get them on different arms. If you have any questions about these shots, talk to your primary care provider.
