Our students are on average 30 years old, with 7 years of professional experience, and are striving to develop their management knowledge and skills to enhance international career prospects. A minimum of three years relevant professional experience is required. As mentioned, in part of the program, the accelerated international MBA and the regular part-time group will be held jointly, which increases the opportunities for networking with experienced Brazilian professionals, that are predominant in the regular part-time.

FIA international MBA accelerated is a General management MBA program, but with a particular emphasis on a multicultural experience, and with a strong basis on strategic management. For 14 months, students will complete the 602 hours required to accomplish the course. Classes are held weekly on Wednesdays and Thursdays, in addition to classes on Fridays and Saturdays, every two weeks, along with our regular Part-time International MBA.

As part of the development proposed by the program, the international MBA accelerated students have a one-week international immersion, with Innovation and creativity classes at UC Berkeley and Stanford University (two of the best universities in the USA, located in California) and company visits at Silicon Valley (San José, California). Study trips expand networking and experience exchange opportunities with senior executives. The participants pay airfare and hotel.

• Career Workshops to develop and familiarize foreigners students with the country’s labor market and culture, as well as the preparation for job applications and interviews.

• A consulting project will be performed in a company established in Brazil, targeting to give students an opportunity to get in contact and learn about local work culture and have real work experience. We provided support both for developing these activities, through an experienced coach and for obtaining placement in a company for these projects. The school also holds a yearly Recruiting Fair in which students can have personal contact with the Human Resources staff from large Brazilian and

Profuturo-FIA International MBA also offers for selected students the opportunity to take three or four months of studies with partner business schools in the Americas, Europe, and Asia, free of charge, on a student exchange basis.

As part of our pedagogic and didactic proposal, the student is the center of the learning process. Through active learning methods, class sessions integrate concepts, theory, and practical aspects, based on a strategic view of Brazil and abroad. The student-centered learning environment allows a perfect combination between students needs and knowledge building process. Also, our participation in the Harvard Latin American Case Consortium ensures the use of relevant and current cases, articles, simulators and online courses for international management available on

the Harvard Business Education platform.

The Harvard course packs, readings, and simulations are included in the course tuition, and research by the EMBA Council shows that the “payback” of FIA courses is twice as fast as the average American executive MBA course.

The selection process involves 3 stages: • Curriculum analysis.

• Application essay.

• Interview.
