• Israel: Our educator will bring to life the story of Jesus, the apostles and the ancient prophets throughout Israel. You will experience Jerusalem, the Sea of Galilee, Bethlehem, Jerusalem Center, Nazareth, Garden of Gethsemane, Mount of Olives, the Garden Tomb, Mount of Beatitudes, Mt. Carmel, Capernaum, Caesarea, tour on top of Temple Mount, Palace of Caiaphas and the Jordan River along with a swim in the Dead Sea! We also visit places others miss or are not allowed to visit in the Holy Land. Some tours even leave off Bethlehem and almost everyone leaves off Jordan! One of the sites, in the Holy Land, that only we are able to visit, is the ongoing excavations of the City of Lehi. A cave was discovered a short distance down from Jerusalem with writings of a Prophet from 600 BC. The Nomad tribes consider the hill above the cave to be a sacred place. As they put it, “Before there was Muhammad there was a great prophet named Lehi and he taught from that hill”. We do not know if this is the Lehi mentioned in the Book of Mormon, but we do know this will be a huge highlight as you visit an active archaeological dig. The excavations are on an Army Base. Only those excavating and Fun For Less Tours have been given permission to go onto the site.
• Jordan: Petra was voted in as one of the “New” 7 wonders in the world and it is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Several movies have been filmed in Petra including “Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade,” “Lawrence of Arabia,” The Martian,” and “Dune”
• Egypt: Our tour to Egypt brings you the BEST of the BEST in Egypt: Cairo, the Pyramids and King Tut’s treasures; Luxor: The Karnak Temple the Luxor Temple and Valley of the Kings. We considered doing Japan from a ship. But, as we studied the itineraries offered by ships, all missed some of the best areas of Japan and NONE that we found would be there during the beautiful Cherry Blossom Season. After evaluating everything, we concluded there was just too much being left out of Japan and Southeast Asia. Our owners have traveled to this part of the world many times, taking their children and even many grand children with them to this part of the world, because of their love of Southeast Asia. We build our India tours around the rare opportunity to visit the best part of the Pushkar Festival that only happens during 5 days each year. The timing of the festival for 2026 has allowed us to design our tour with advantages we have not had in the past.
Here is why you should choose 2026 as the year to take our tour to India:
• The purchase power of the dollar this year compared to past years: In the past for every dollar we traded for Indian Rupees (India’s money), we received somewhere between 42 to 50 rupees. This year for every dollar we are able to get close to 90 rupees per dollar. This is the best exchange rate we have ever seen. We are purchasing the Indian rupees now and putting them in the bank to insure the huge savings for our 2026 group. No one knows when the number of rupees per dollar will go back to 40 rupees per dollar.
• Pushkar Festival: As part of your tour, you will have the rare opportunity to experience the famous Pushkar Festival. The Pushkar Festival is considered the oldest festival in the world. It has been held annually for over 1,000 years. National Geographic created a list of the ten places you should see before you die. Pushkar Festival was on that list. · Kathmandu, Nepal: You will love the ancient architecture and old villages.

· Pushkar Festival: With so few days in a year that the 1,000 year old festival is held and so few places to stay in the Pushkar area, very few tourists are ever able to experience the Pushkar Festival. Even those that go most have to stay in tent camps, but not our group, we have one of the few 5-star resort hotels for our passengers. This is only available to our passengers because of connections the owners of Fun For Less Tours have in India.
· Maharaja Palaces: Many of them are so stunning that they become an attraction unto themselves. We usually leave early and return around 4pm back to the Maharaja Palaces. This gives our passengers time to leisurely explore the beautiful grounds, take a swim in some of the beautiful swimming pools and enjoy dinner on patios overlooking the manicured gardens.
· The Country of Bhutan: Few, if any, tourists ever get permission to visit Bhutan – it's like stepping back in time where little has changed in hundreds of years. This is an optional extension, but if you have time and have the money we highly recommend it. Bhutan wants to limit the number of tourists. One of the ways is that they charge $200 a day per tourist, in addition to any visas, flights, hotels and other expenses related to the trip. That means, with our group staying 4 nights, we are paying between $800 and $1,000 per person just for the right to enter Bhutan. Expensive, but we believe it is worth it.
Bhutan is a small picturesque country located high in the Himalayas with a border to Tibet. It was almost completely cut off for centuries with no roads in or out. It has tried to let in some aspects of the outside world while fiercely guarding its ancient traditions. They still wear clothing styles that are from the 16th century. Bhutan “Land of the Thunder Dragon”, only began to open up to outsiders in the 1970s.
Bhutan’s ancient Buddhist culture, friendly people and breathtaking scenery makes it a natural tourist attraction. Tourism is very restricted. They limit the number of visas each year and all visitors must travel as part of a pre-arranged package or guided tour, it is not open to independent travelers. Fun For Less Tours' owners have been to Bhutan and have worked hard to obtain a chance for our passengers to visit this wonderful country. We highly recommend you add this optional extension!!!!

After disembarking from your Danube Cruise in Budapest, we will proceed to Ljubljana, Slovenia. On our way we will have a stop and tour of Zagreb on our way to Ljubljana. Our two days of touring in Slovenia will include, Ljubljana, Bled Lake, Bled Castle, the famous Predjama Castle and the impressive Postojna Cave. The Predjama Castle is the world’s largest cave castle that has over 1,000 years history. The Postojna Cave, the Queen of all caves, is the most captivating cave in the world. After visiting the Predjama area with its castle and cave, we are a little over an hour drive back to Ljubljana or 2 hours from Venice, Italy. Before we charter a train or ship, the owners have to experience it first, to check out the quality and itinerary. There were six things that convinced them they needed to charter trains in Africa for our passengers:
• Rovos Rail: Our exclusive Africa train charters are through Rovas Rail. Considered by many to be the most luxurious train in the world! Rovos Rail harkens back to a simpler, more elegant era encompassing the timeless grace and high romance of African exploration. With vintage wood-paneled coaches and open lounge areas, the train is its own highlight. The train can carry up to 72 passengers in 36 superbly appointed suites.
• Bathrooms and Showers: On our Africa luxury trains EVERY cabin has an attached private bathroom. On our Siberia and Silk Road trains, that we have chartered, very few cabins included an attached bathroom and shower. the majority of the cabins did not have a private bathroom attached to their cabin. They did have shared public toilets and showers in each car. Having the luxury of having a bathroom attached to each train cabin was impressive.
• Charter Pricing: They offered us huge savings if we chartered the whole train. Buying the Rovas Rail train through other companies for a similar 15-day trip would run over $10,500 or more per person. With our private exclusive charter – your price for the same Elephant Cabin with its own bathroom is only $8,495 per person. That is a discount of about $2,000 per person.
• Open Lounge Cars: The Siberia trains and the Silk Road trains do not include a lounge car for socializing, reading or playing games. Our Africa Train has two lounge cars where guests can gather with large windows to look out. They also have an area where you can step outside onto an open-air deck to take pictures. Impressive is the best word to describe the luxury train.
• Great Itinerary: We stay two nights in Zambia. Our hotel is located at Victoria Falls. It has its own private entrance to Victoria Falls so our passengers can visit it more than once while staying at our wonderful hotel.
