Another wave of airline cancellations and delays was felt across the US over the weekend. More than 7,700 flights were delayed and 950 flights were canceled across the country on Sunday, according to the flight tracking website, FlightAware. POLITICAL RACE GOES DOWN TO WIRE

The Senate on Sunday afternoon passed Democrats’ $750 billion health care, tax and climate bill, in a significant victory for President Joe Biden and his party. The final, party-line vote was 51-50, with Vice President Kamala Harris breaking the tie. The Democrat-controlled House, which is expected to take up the legislation on Friday, must approve the bill before Biden can sign it into law. The measure includes a handful of important but narrow provisions to lower prescription drug prices and extend enhanced Affordable Care Act subsidies for three years. The bill would also be the biggest climate investment in US history, slashing US greenhouse gas emissions by 40% by 2030, Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer’s office said. To boost revenue, the legislation would impose a 15% minimum tax on the income large corporations report to shareholders,

At least 68 migrants arrived in New York City over the weekend on buses sent by Texas Gov. Greg Abbott. According to New York Mayor Eric Adams, some of the migrants are being “forced” on buses from Texas. However, Abbott’s office says migrants are volunteering to be bused out of his state. Abbott has designated New York as a “drop-off location for the busing strategy as part of (his) response to the Biden administration’s open border policies overwhelming Texas communities,” the governor’s office said in a statement on Friday.

Spruce grouse are another popular species for birders and those hitting the hunting grounds alike. These birds have different habitat requirements when compared to the roughed grouse and appear in different areas of the state; while they thrive in different regions of Minnesota, both species have recently experienced high rates of nest success due in large part to the arid conditions experienced during last year’s spring and summer seasons.

While droughts in early 2021 proved challenging for many species, the dry conditions proved to be a boon for grouse and their nest success rates.

The person reporting the situation to police also said that afterwards, the woman drove west on Fir Avenue and they noticed there were children in the car. An officer checked northbound on Friberg Avenue and across Fir, and was unable to locate the vehicle.

A man piloting a motorcycle near the intersection of 270th Street and County Highway 111 contacted the Otter Tail County Sheriff’s office on Aug. 2, at approximately 7:18 a.m., reporting that he was sprayed by an irrigator while riding his motorcycle to work. The man reported it hit his face and that he was concerned that there was some kind of chemical or fertilizer in the water. The man also reported concerns that the water could damage his motorcycle. When a deputy spoke with the owner of the irrigator, they stated that it does not usually reach the roadway but the wind probably assisted in carrying the water to the roadway and also stated to the deputy that there wasn’t anything in the water for the motorcyclist to be concerned about.

The candidate was concerned that the incident was politically motivated, but did not have anyone in mind in the area as a suspect. The deputy checked an area around Eagle Lake and stated that no one they spoke with saw any drones in the area that night, nor did the deputy observe anything himself.

Lethe Torgerson

Michael could be found early in the morning, lifting weights and working out for two hours. Friends and family knew this because of his post-gym social media post and pictures on days such as ‘Flex Friday’ and ‘Motivation Monday’.

Lethe spent her younger years growing up on the family farm in Leaf Mountain Township near Inspiration Peak. There she spent many joyful days riding horses and exploring the nearby woods and stream. When she was 13, her family moved to a hobby farm near South Turtle Lake. In her later years, she enjoyed deer hunt ing with her family, spending time at the “80” and spoiling her grandchildren. Her greatest pleasure was knitting and spent many peaceful hours making her next creation, even while sitting in her deer stand.

She worked 23 years for Otter Tail County at her dream job, first at the Battle Lake Transfer Station and then at the Northeast Landfill.

Devon had lost her first born this way, and she vowed that it wouldn’t happen again. So when her second-born cried with a tell-tale curled tongue and her husband prepared to send the baby to the knights, Devon weighed her options: find some one in the Ravenscar Family to give the boy curing medicine; hunt for him bi-weekly, until he could hunt for himself; or let the Family have her son.

COACHING: Application closes Aug. 19

Or she could run, as she’d done for three years now, as knights and dragons watched for her con stantly and circled her everywhere and her boy was always hungry. As he grew, so did the danger, and there’d be no Happily Ever After ... Princesses, knights, and dragons, oh my! They’re there, plus everything else you want in a dark fable – tattered cities, menacing thickets, evil step-relatives, monsters – all of which makes “The Book Eaters”

That was the way it was. Like everything in the Family, it was as it’s always been, just as it was expected that princesses would relinquish their children– forcibly, if necessary.

She’d been a fearless child, secure in the knowl edge that princesses like her were rare and never punished as long as they kept quiet, married twice, bore two children, then gracefully with drew. Devon’s brothers – and there were many –became knights or rulers of their Family’s quad rant. Other children – those unfortunate offspring born with a mind eater’s curled proboscis – were whisked away at birth to become dragons because they couldn’t be trusted not to kill.

No, sorry, this ain’t the Brothers Grimm. It’s much better, dark and tasty. You’ll be obsessed with “The Book Eaters.” You’ll devour it.

As a child, Devon Fairweather’s days were spent in Yorkshire moors near her family’s man sion, exploring the woods, and playing with her next-oldest brother, Ramsey. She didn’t worry about school because she was a book eater; nour ishment and knowledge both came from pages of literature and nonfiction. She particularly loved the taste of fairy tales.

You’ve consumed a lot of fairy tales in your lifetime.Princesses on mattresses, princesses with glass slippers, princesses in towers, princesses and frogs, you knew them all before reality set in and you stopped dreaming about any sort of hand some prince. And that’s fine; in the new novel, “The Book Eaters” by Sunyi Dean, you’re abso lutely better off without one.

It’s probably not even the kind of book a sensi tive soul would want to read before bedtime; the very idea of a world full of thick-browed drag ons and exhausted princesses running parallel to ours could either keep you awake or give you nightmares. It wouldn’t help that you’d be happi ly plagued by multiple I-didn’t-see-that-coming plotlines and a modern-not-modern heroine who fights misogyny, child-snatching, and being someone’s lunch.

And how wonderful is author Sunyi Dean’s prose? Well, on the first page, she shoves readers into a dank apartment above a car repair busi ness, and we can practically smell the rubber of new tires. Indeed, it’s gut-punch storytelling that shouts at the imagination.

CWD: Multiple testing options avaiable

The New York Times published a sto ry headlined, “The Wind Is at Biden’s Back for a Change. Will Voters Care?”

Daily Journal media

Why was it such a great week? Two reasons, according to the new con ventional wisdom. One, the Senate passed a bill providing billions in subsidies to the semiconductor in dustry. Conservatives denounced the measure as a pork-laden handout to big business and slammed the 16 Re publicans in the Senate and 24 in the House who voted for it. But Biden, with unanimous Democratic support in both chambers, said it “will make cars cheaper, appliances cheaper and computers cheaper,” as well as “create high-paying manufacturing jobs.” The White House portrayed it as a Thewin-win.second big thing for Biden was that Capitol Hill Democrats appeared to unify behind a kinda, sorta slimmed-down version of Biden’s ill-fated Build Back Better agenda -- this time, one that focuses mostly on climate, health care and tax increases, instead of everything, as the original bill did. At some where between $400 billion and $700 billion, it’s as big a spending bill as Democrats could get past Sen. Joe Manchin of West Virginia, their most moderate member.

A few days later, Biden would score a genuine success with the U.S. killing of al-Qaida leader and 9/11 planner Ayman al-Zawahiri, for which he received deserved and bipartisan praise. But much of Wash ington was already eager to declare him the Comeback Kid. Inflation is being fought! The semiconductor bill! Manchin on board! Recession -NOT! If it seems strangely detached from your own experiences and priorities, well, you’re probably like millions of other Americans, at least those outside Washington.

I also find that I am very captivated by the Middle Ages. I’m not one to binge a show on Netflix or sit in front of a TV at all; but if I am, I’ll likely being watching something that involves empires and big wooden ships — or “Pirates of the Caribbean” movies.

On Friday, he tweeted: “The Inflation Reduction Act of 2022 invests billions in the cli mate crisis. I’m talking about rebates for sustainable choices, tax credits for electric vehicles, investments in environmental justice. All while low ering costs and creating thousands of clean energy jobs.” OK, but what about reducing inflation?

Remember -- this was the week the U.S. economy slipped into recession.

I had the opportunity to see an incredible number of sailboats gathered on Lake Superior the evening prior, as apparently it is a regular Wednesday tradition for sailboats to, well, set sail! While I was still excited to see them closer, as I was permitted to journey out onto the pier, it was the big wooden ships — pirate-style ... Viking-style — that captured my awe.

KANTRUDHEATHER

Here’s what party leaders thought was very, very clever. They named the bill the Inflation Reduction Act. After all, the polls show, and every one just knows, that a 9.1% annual rate of inflation is the most pressing concern on voters’ minds. It is by far the most important issue for this November’s midterm elections, and Republicans were just killing Demo crats on it. So Democrats decided to claim that their new spending bill, containing expensive measures they have long wanted to pass, is a bold inflation-fighting step.

What I saw from a distance was both larger and smaller than what I saw up close, all at the same time. The masts are so tall and the sails are so big — but the ship itself was much shorter and narrower than I thought it would be at first sight.

Eventually, I hope to hop on a sail boat and spend some time on the sea between the various Greek Isles; but that is a dream for another day!

An odd atmosphere has descended on Washington, D.C. At the precise moment the government announced that the economy shrank for the second consecutive quarter -- the popular definition of a recession -Washington pundits began talking about what a great week President Joe Biden was having. And they meant it sincerely, not ironically.

While I would love to learn how to sail, I have yet to even set foot on a sailboat.

But here’s the thing. The Inflation Reduction Act is not about reducing inflation. It will not reduce inflation in any significant way. As a matter of fact, the best-informed debate at the moment seems to be about whether it will have zero effect on inflation or actually make inflation worse.

COMMENTARY

Why? Because before the bill has even passed -- and, of course, it still hasn’t -- the media declarations of a Biden comeback began. First came the assertions that the recession might not really be a recession at all. The night before the GDP numbers came out, Politico announced that the figure would be “possibly inac curate and certain to be revised.”

However, the most interesting thing that happened when the ships came sailing in, happened both before and after I was at the festival. A gentleman in a tan shirt with a ponytail was eating dinner at the table next to my husband and I on Wednesday night. On Thursday, he was at the festival. On Friday night, he ate dinner at the same restaurant that we did in Duluth ... three very different locations, the same man. It became a bit of a joke, with greetings floating back and forth when it was all said and done. It’s funny how those things happen!

Last week, I had the opportunity to get up close to some of those big wooden ships that I find so fascinat ing at Festival of Sail in Two Harbors (also known as the Tall Ships Festival).

Regardless, what I really wanted to do was climb aboard, but the U.S. Coast Guard had to clear the breakwater and the pier had to be abandoned. They do sell tickets to board the ships and go on a bit of a sailing adventure, but that wasn’t in the cards for me last week. (Rest assured, it has been added to my bucket list!)

So even if Sinema is on board and Democrats can pass the bill on a 50-50 tie, plus the vice president’s vote -- even if all that happens, it would be nice to think the Inflation Reduction Act would actually reduce inflation, wouldn’t it? In reality, that appears to be entirely irrelevant.

Considering where I live, plus the fact that my grandparents live right off of a marina in Wisconsin, I really should find a way to make that happen soon!

When the ships come sailing in

The name alone appeared to trans form Biden White House officials, who until now seemed powerless to deal with raging inflation, into tough-minded inflation fighters. In the past, officials didn’t much want to use the I-word when speaking from the White House press room podium. But after the Senate Dem ocratic deal, spokeswoman Karine Jean-Pierre just couldn’t stop saying “inflation,” over and over, as some thing the Biden White House is fighting and fighting and fighting. When one reporter called the bill the “reconciliation” bill, referring to the Senate parliamentary maneuver that will have to be used to pass it, JeanPierre responded, “We like to call it the Inflation Reduction Act.”

A new assessment from the Univer sity of Pennsylvania’s Penn Wharton Budget Model found that the In flation Reduction Act “would very slightly increase inflation until 2024 and decrease inflation thereafter. These point estimates are statistical ly indistinguishable from zero, there by indicating low confidence that the legislation will have any impact on inflation.” If you want the real

Like most festivals, there were a variety of vendors peddling their wares. There was live music and plenty of interesting people watching to occur. I especially liked the intricate pirate costumes that were spotted here and there. I wasn’t expecting to see the world’s largest inflatable duck, but I did!

or my entire adult life, I have been infatuated with sailboats. There is something so serene about seeing white sails against a blue sky with a few puffy clouds floating in the background.

As I sat on the shore of Lake Superior, eating crab cakes and rice full of shrimp, baby octopus, mussels and crawfish from a food vendor, sails appeared in the distance. I, along with the rest of the crowd, gravitated toward to pier to get a closer look.

The next day, Politico declared a Biden victory: “Somehow, someway, Joe Biden is back in the game. After enduring a brutal year, Biden is sud denly on the verge of a turnaround that, the White House believes, could salvage his summer -- and alter the trajectory of his presidency.”

And Axios touted “Biden’s success story,” arguing that the president has “slowly but substantially re-engi neered significant parts of the Amer ican economy.” That assessment was based in part on the passage of the semiconductor bill and the possi ble-but-not-assured passage of the Inflation Reduction Act.

On the other hand, it’s unclear whether it will have the support of the other Senate moderate, Arizona’s Kyrsten Sinema. And remember, in a 50-50 Senate, with all Republicans opposed -- and they will oppose this one -- Democrats will have to corral all 50 of their senators to pass the bill with Vice President Kamala Harris breaking the 50-50 tie. So it is not a done deal yet.

THE FIRST AMENDMENT

Since the man on the radio wasn’t saying to pray his way or the highway, I took it as an invite offering insight. No doubt, like you, “The Lord’s Prayer” has been a go to more oft than not. After all, why wouldn’t it be as His Word clearly reads, “This, then, is how you should pray” (Matt. 6:9). Luke’s version is no less clear. “When you pray, say …” (Luke 11:2).

“Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in heav en.” Inviting Him to take the lead makes way for His way. Like a fan in the stands the view is always much more clear than that of the referee out on the floor. And like the fan in the stands, God has a bird’s eye view – panoramic, if you will – of what the big picture looks like. He sees. When we say, “Thy will be done,” we proclaim He knows better and we are willing to trust – just for today – until we pray the words again tomorrow and the next and the next – not only trusting, but knowing He has our best interest in mind.

if it looks differently compared to what’s on the world stage. After all, “what good does it do to gain the whole world and lose your very soul?” (Mark 8:36).

In an email request, I asked Marianne to write about the person al rewards she has gained from playing the piano. She responded, “There are so many rewards that it’s hard to write about it. Playing the piano is my identity. It has enabled me to know myself and to feel emotions on a very deep level. Performing a very difficult piece, like the Brahms Piano Quintet, gives me a tremendous sense of accomplishment. For a performance like that, I need to have a strong work ethic, since it will take many months of individual practice and then hours of practice with the string quartet to be able to perform it. Then when you get the excitement of a live audience combined with the many hours of work I’ve put into it, one gets such a powerful sense of strength and joy in the perfor mance. There is nothing more deeply satisfying.”Iamhonored to know Marianne and learn about her musical journey. I wonder if we take for granted the self-discipline involved in an artist’s pursuit of excellence. She has given us a perspective on patience, dedica tion and hard work. But there is more. There is a spirit and energy in the soul of Marianne Bryan that springs forth in every note she plays. And that is the gift of an accomplished artist.

The ability of a musician to master the keys or strings of an instru ment, to create musical sounds that touch our emotions and create pictures in the mind, has always inspired me.

As ill-equipped people who are not on the throne, we will need to be forgiven and we will need to forgive those who trespass against us. It’s a sure bet someone will offend. If not, you can be certain we will perceive it as though they did at some point along life’s way.

What a simple way to pray throughout the day. Amen.

We just have to pray the ‘Our Father’ like He taught us to,” said the man on theTheradio.man’s words seemed worthy of consideration as he expounded on the format we’ve been given by suggesting that when it’s used, it is enough.

LETTER TO THE EDITOR

On May 22, Minnesota lawmakers passed a $18.4 million drought relief package. It was introduced by a republican senator and Democratic representative.

Christopher Swedzinski, a Republican representative, has spoken about his support of farmers and posted on his Facebook page information about how to apply and qualify for receiving relief money, yet he voted no.

I asked Marianne how her interest in playing the piano started. She ex plained, “I remember my mom singing and playing Shirley Temple songs on the piano when I was very little. She always sang and played with such joy. Playing piano came very naturally to me. It seemed to be in my blood.”

Dean Urdahl, another Republican representative, spoke out saying, “The harsh weather we experienced the last six weeks is causing hardships for farmers who already have been facing tough times. Farming is vital to our way of life in District 18A and the dairy indus try is an especially important component in our local economy. I am pleased we put this bill on a fast track to passage to help those who suffered damage …” He also voted no on drought relief.

What a remarkable career she has had! She has played at notable venues, like Ordway Center for the Performing Arts in St. Paul, the Stanley Hotel in Estes Park, Colorado, the Walker Arts Center in Minneapolis, Noontime at Hochstein (a live radio performance in New York), many performances with the Northern Lights String Quartet

Marianne Bryan was born at Lake Region Hospital in Fergus Falls and lived here until she graduated from high school. She received a Masters of Music from the University of Colorado in Boulder and a Doctorate of Musical Arts from the University of Minnesota.

All of this was running through my mind as I listened to Marianne play. Search YouTube for “White Clouds” and listen to the changes of mood and tempo. It is a remarkable creation, and Marianne mastered every element. I respect all artists who have worked hard to create works that we can enjoy. Marianne is a teacher of piano as well as a performer and I wanted to know how all that came about.

I was thinking about that one Sunday at the Unitarian Church I attend, as Marianne Bryan played Ludovico Ein audi’s character piece, “White Clouds.” I’m a big fan of clouds, especially big, white, fluffy ones. And if the sun is low, shadows fluctuate through the white ness giving it dimension and character. The shapes of clouds are always chang ing and it must have fascinated ancient sapiens, who had no idea about the science that creates clouds.

Marianne Bryan seated at the piano, ready to play.

Republican representative Glenn Gruenhagen also posted numerous times on his Face book page in support of the bill and emailed his constituents information about drought relief with his picture plastered on it, yet he too voted no.

Thus, I began with no list in hand.

This forgiveness thing is an on-going big wad of cud that con tinually regurgitates itself in many a form – and as nasty as it gets, it must be dealt with. We can do one of two things with it. We can cooperate with forgiveness – or not. If not, it’s going to be an even stickier mess to swallow so one might as well allow Him to work in us that which only He can do. Goodness knows He is able and we are “Andnot.lead us not into temp tation but deliver us from evil.”

“Our Father, Who art in heav en, hallowed be Thy name.” The praise begins. Acknowledgement that He is on the throne while we are not is rather reassuring. Reaching towards the heavenly, to worlds not yet known, lifts the mind as unto the Lord. What a beautiful way to start the day. Thus, I continued.

And there’s even more who did the same thing. Ask your district’s senator and represen tative how they voted. We need lawmakers who don’t just talk about supporting farmers, but actually vote to support them.

e most effective treatment for glaucoma is reducing the intraocular pressure. Even people with normal eye pressures can have the progression of glaucoma stopped, or at least slowed, by lowering intraocular pressure. ere are several ways to do that. Medicated eyedrops are probably the most common. Prostaglandins and beta blockers are used more frequently than the medication you are using, brimonidine, which is called an alpha-2 agonist. It frequently causes red-eye symptoms. Laser treatment is another reasonable option, with surgery seldom used except in people with severe damage at the time they come to medical attention.

DEAR DR. ROACH: I am 70 years old, in good health, with no family history of glaucoma. My optometrist diagnosed me a year ago as having low-pressure glaucoma, early stage. He prescribed brimonidine 0.2% twice daily. I also saw an ophthalmologist for a second opinion. e ophthalmologist diagnosed me as a “glaucoma suspect.” He does not recommend drops at this time, but does recommend monitoring every six months. I have recently had a six-month checkup with testing by both doctors. I’m “holding steady.”

It causes my daughter-in-law to go ballistic on my son; never directly to me. Both of them have professional jobs and are in their 30s.

ANSWER: Most people think glaucoma is a disease of high pressure in the eyes, but actually, glaucoma is a disease of the optic nerve, with high pressure being the biggest risk factor. Many people have high intraocular pressures and have no damage to the nerve; others, like you, can develop damage to the nerve with normal pressures. I think that’s the source of the seemingly different messages you are getting. e term “glaucoma suspect” means a person has risk for glaucoma -especially elevated intraocular pressure, but may also include the early appearance of damage to the optic nerve, or people who have the type of visual loss associated with glaucoma, which is loss of vision in the periphery of the eye.

My advice is to smile and continue babysitting your grandchild until preschool starts. If you quit now, it will only give your daughter-inlaw another excuse to blame you and curtail interactions with you in the future. If you choose to keep doing it, you will have an eight-month window for your grandchild to bond with you, which bodes well for the future.

Over the last few weeks, I have discussed a few sports topics (mostly thinking back to some of the childhood activities I and my friends partook in). I figured I would continue on that train but something just a little different.

Hexum picked up the win, as he pitched five and a third innings. He gave up six hits, one walk, a hit batter and two wild pitches, plus fourMannKs. was 5-5 with three runs and six RBIs. McGuire went 2-3 with four runs and two RBIs.

Stanislawski went the distance on the hill, scattering four hits and one walk. He also struck out 11 batters in the game.

I’ll begin by saying I have never witnessed an NFL game in-person. I have been to a few stadiums, but for other reasons. So it Mygoes.family was on a trip back during the high school days. We were in Hattiesburg, Miss., walking around the campus of South ern Miss (hello, Brett Favre) when lo and behold “The Rock” aka M. M. Roberts Stadium was towering in front of us. Just a few workers were around and my dad and I strolled down to stand in one of the end zones. It was pretty cool.

Making their way through the 2022 Region 16C amateur baseball tournament, the Fergus Falls Hurricanes punched their ticket to the state tournament, picking up a 3-0 over the Urbank Bombers, on Aug. 6 and then thumping the Sauk Centre Titans 14-3, on Aug. 7.

My bucket list consists of visiting sports venues, primarily col lege to professional venues. So far, there have been a wide range of stadiums, both on game day and also when it’s quiet and no one is around.

Three more runs came across in the fourth inning and then six runs in the fifth. A pair of

Many of us have bucket lists, for various reasons. Traveling to an exotic destination, crossing off a skill learned, connecting with a long lost friend etc. My bucket list is more of a life long list, with not necessarily looking to complete it, but rather keeping it updat ed and seeing how far it can go, throughout my life.

I’m not going to list off all of the venues, but rather highlight some of my favorites so far.

“Canes brought out the lumber with seven extra base hits in a game played in a steady light rain which could not slow down the bats,” said Johnson. “Hexum did a great job in pitching the Canes to their seventh straight state tournament appearance and 24th overall. We jumped out early and just kept hitting.”

One highlight was attending my first NHL game. Wild fans, go easy on me (I’ve been to the X for many sporting events, just not the Wild). During my tenure in North Dakota, I frequented the city of Winnipeg, for sports and for leisure. A chum and I bought tickets to a Jets game and sat in the last row of a sellout crowd. It is now called the Canada Life Centre. The rink is built inside an old shopping mall in downtown Winnipeg. My friend said I looked like “a kid in a candy store” when we were first walkingAnotherin.one was recently. A trip to San Francisco was accompa nied by a visit to the Giants baseball stadium. As cool as McCovey Cove and the area looks on TV, it was that and even more seeing it in person. San Fran fans are passionate and you could sense that in the air, a great atmosphere to be a part of.

Things got started when Stanislwaski belted a two-run homer in the first inning. That was followed by a Tosten Mann two-run homer in the third inning.

Hensch was 1-3 with a walk and two runs scored. Stanislawski was 3-4 with an RBI at the“Bothplate.starting pitchers threw very well, we were able to jump on the Urbank starter before he settled in,” mentioned Canes skipper Davy Johnson. “Stanislawski was dealing all day getting ahead of hitters and keeping his pitch count down which allowed him to pitch all nine innings. The Bombers did threaten in the seventh with 2 singles to lead off and a sac bunt moving runners to second and third but a K and a ground out ended the threat. Bomb ers went three up and three down in both the eighth and ninth.”

In other action, from the region tournament, in two elimination games, Alexandria was a 2-0 winner over Dent and Urbank beat Breck enridge, 2-0. Upcoming, Alex and Urbank will meet in an elimination game on Aug. 12. The winner will advance and face Sauk Centre, in another elimination game, on Aug.R13.H

Lastly, a huge highlight was stepping inside the U.S. Bank stadi um for the first time. While I am not a Vikings fan – I was all smiles taking in all the sights. A true modern marvel, I was there for high school football but can only imagine being there in person for an NFLTheregame.are numerous venues I am hoping to see in the near future, but sometimes the most fulfilling ones are those that pop up unexpectedly – a quick and surprisingly add to my ever growing list.

Fergus will await their opponent for the cham pionship game. Both teams will advance to the state tournament, with state seeding on the line.

Against Urbank, the Canes wasted little time, scoring two runs in the home half of the first inning. Sean McGuire and Alex Hensch hit backto-back doubles to open up the scoring. Darin Stanislawski drove in Hensch with a single, later in the Thatinning.scorewould hold until the sixth. Hensch walked and stole second base.
