Teamwork isn't just a word we throw around to sound like motivational speakers. It's one of the core values that has kept this organization moving forward for over a decade. Think of a broom. A single broomstick is easily broken, but many bound together are strong and unyielding. Similarly, teamwork is a vital part of our DIETS core values (Diligence, Integrity, Excellence, Teamwork, and Service). It thrives when combined with our other values but doesn't have as much impact in isolation. We can't claim diligence, integrity, excellence, and service without teamwork. Why? Because our roles are intertwined. My success is your success, and your success is mine. Teamwork makes the next person tick. It makes your colleague look forward to collaborating with you on a project. It gives your line manager assurance that work will be done. It makes them trust you because you're dependable. Ultimately, teamwork makes it possible for Parthian to achieve another win every time you give your best to a project.
So, here's to many more years, weeks, and days of collaborating as a team and winning together! Cheers!
#VioletsForHer is Back and Bigger! Last year, i-invest launched the first-ever #VioletsForHer on International Women’s Day, March 8, introducing a savings product designed to help women build wealth faster. What started as a high-interest savings plan quickly became a movement dedicated to closing the gender wealth gap.
The VioletsForHer Savings Plan offers women an extra 1% interest per annum compared to standard savings plans, making wealth-building easier and more rewarding. Plus, consistent savers are celebrated with monthly rewards!
The impact was undeniable—besides helping women save, we also rewarded female staff members and customers who topped the leaderboard each month.
This Year, We’re Taking It to the Next Level!
With the theme "VioletsForHer: Money, Mindset, Momentum," we’re bringing together influential women like Tara Fela-Durotoye, Tola Akerele, and others to share powerful insights on financial empowerment, mindset shifts, and building unstoppable momentum.
This event will also mark the relaunch of the #VioletsForHer Savings Challenge, offering women even greater opportunities to take control of their financial future.
Expect an experiential, insightful, and empowering event—you don’t want to miss this!
Event Details:
Date: Friday, March 7
Time 10 AM
Venue: Wh eatbaker Hotel, Ikoyi, Lagos
We’re excited to announce the official launch of Parthian Capital Limited, the asset management arm of the Parthian Group, on Tuesday, March 11th, 2025. The launch will be marked by a formal evening event where the company will unveil its innovative investment funds: the Parthian Naira Money Market Fund and the Parthian Dollar Fixed Income Fund. Just like Parthian Partners and its sister company - Parthian Securities, Parthian Capital is built on a foundation of excellence, innovation, and unwavering integrity. The company is dedicated to providing clients with comprehensive financial planning, private wealth management, and specialized philanthropy and endowment services.
The Parthian Naira Money Market Fund is a low-risk investment option designed for capital
preservation and steady income generation. This fund is ideal for individuals, HNIs, pension fund administrators, and institutions seeking a secure and reliable investment vehicle.
The Parthian Dollar Fixed Income Fund offers investors the opportunity to diversify their portfolios with dollar-denominated securities. This fund is suitable for individuals, employees, pension fund administrators, insurance firms, and others seeking higher returns and a hedge against Naira depreciation.
The formal launch event on March 11th will bring together key stakeholders, investors, and industry leaders to celebrate this milestone and learn more about Parthian Capital's offerings.
See you there!
Having a work bestie is like actually having a mirror in the office, and even beyond. Having a work bestie has made me realize that regardless of the daily bustle to meet deliverables you can also become an integral part of this person’s life. Caring about her well-being outside of the four corners of the office, seeing her as someone I can share life goals with, cry to on days when life gets tough. Bringing it back to the work space, having a work bestie helps me come out of my struggles with being a “solo-worker”, now open to embracing teamwork because it really does make the dream work. -
Like strings in a symphony, seamlessly connected when the piano plays, so is the bond of having a work bestie.
We started as colleagues— brainstorming ideas, supporting each other’s tasks, and sharing KPIs. But over time, we built something deeper: a connection where faith and belief align, love languages intertwine, and growth is a shared journey. I haven’t always been the easiest person to open up to people but this friendship has changed that part of me in the most beautiful and unexpected way. The idea that work relationships should stay within office walls? That theory doesn’t apply to us. When you spend so much of your life at work, why not make it meaningful?
For me, it’s more than deadlines and deliverables. It’s about making memories, dreaming beyond the 9-to-5, and someday having our kids witness the friendship we’ve built—one that extends far beyond the workplace. - Jennifer
