TransformArt: Art as a means of social transformation 15th edition of the International Human Rights Film Festival, organized by the DerHumALC Multimedia Institute, ended on Wednesday August 14 in the City of Buenos Aires. The general approach of this year, TransformArt: Art as a means of social transformation, inspired our work search and encouraged the selection of the figures which are helping us to build this meeting and creative reflection space. The program of this 15th edition Festival was composed by a selection of 83 titles, documentaries, animations and fictions, 37 only for the Schools Section, from 24 countries.

Sections, Windows and Focuses Apart from the traditional sections (Enviroment, Native Peoples, Childhood and Youth, Gender Views, Migrants, Memory and Panorama) and the Window to Naples, this year’s innovation was the special Window to Cine FÊrtil, where we have discussed with both, the Saharan and the Palestinian subjects, through two important thematic cores; likewise, we have opened the Window to Germany, in collaboration with the Goethe Institute and the Window to San Sebastian Human Rights Film Festival, with our partner in the International Human Rights Film Network. For the third time we presented the successful Focus on Colombia and Focus on Middle East.
