WASH AWAY RACISM Letter From The EIC & Guest Editor Féroce Magazine since day one has welcomed diverse editorials with open arms. I did not think that was enough. I witness so many talented artists struggling to get the recognition they deserve, models who just “don’t fit” into the briefs, black-owned businesses being ignored, and worst of all, members of the community being completely left out on purpose. Most of the time I believe that change starts from home. I have decided to use this platform as an opportunity to show the world what I and many others believe it to be missing. My younger brother Ivan Renton - and guest editor of the issue - is 13 years old and even at such a young age recognises the disparity when it

comes to representation in the arts. It is so important for young POC to know that there’s so many amazing creative people out there. He has helped me curate this issue. All profits from the sales of the POC TAKEOVER series will be donated to charities fighting against racism across the globe, so please be sure to buy a digital copy to make a donation - details are in the bios. This series includes past and present diverse editorials and features. I will keep this letter short, for I believe it’s not my turn to speak anymore. Please let the following content speak for itself. Share it wide. Amplify the voices and the work of a community that is criminally undervalued. Ivan & Daina Renton
