BEFORE HAGOPIAN CLEANING SERVICES FOUNDER HAROUTAN HAGOPIAN OPENED HIS FIRST STORE IN 1939, HE STARTED IN THE COSMETOLOGY BUSINESS SELLING HAIR DYE, PERFUMES, AND OTHER COSMETIC PRODUCTS FROM HIS BASEMENT.

Years later, Hagopian coincidentally received a call from one of his customers asking if he could help remove a carpet stain. Mr. Hagopian was always up for a new challenge.

So, he used his knowledge of chemicals to successfully remove the stain. He saw a new business opportunity in the carpet stain removal business and went after it. After more than 80 years, the family-owned business is still going strong. Edmond Hagopian is the third generation owner of the Hagopian Cleaning Services. Employees are a mix of family including siblings, parents, and grandparents.
