FFIRMATIONS STARTED AS A GRASSROOTS PROGRAM with a handful of advocates offering a hotline for support. Its mission has always been to provide a welcoming space where people of all sexual orientations, gender identities and expressions, and cultures were able to find support and unconditional acceptance, and where they can learn, grow, socialize, and feel safe.

HAT MISSION HAS ALLOWED AFFIRMATIONS TO GROW INTO a well-recognized community staple in Ferndale and beyond, offering a wide array of services to the LGBTQ+ community and its allies.
