Fernan Alcala is a passionate product designer and has pushed to create work in which emcompasses the future while giving nods to past motifs. His design work stems from modern, yet simplistic forms that prioritize function over form yet give a sense of efficiency through its use. With a Bachelors in Science in Architecture as well as a Masters in Industrial Design, Mr. Alcala holds a credible track record to push beyond the limits of contemporary design. An ambitious, dedicated individual that posesses a drive to redifine the future on how people interact with different products, no matter what the scale. Posseses a highly motivated sense of purpose to work within and outside the professional environment.
Since we live in a world where access to clean water is becoming scarce, and with an abundant increase In plastic waste in the last few years, we must find a solution for the foreseeable future to tackle this issue. That, along with the advent of additive manufacturing and battery technology in conjunction with material science, Lumaflo is a revolutionary way to not only evolve but revolutionize an already well existing water filter for all types of applications.
