As an architect with 8+ years of experience my career has been driven by my caring for sustainability & design
During this past 2 years I’ve been exploring and working with regenerative development and design (Regenesis Group framework) Successfully co-designing an architectural master plan for Holobionte, that repurposes an industrial rooftop (2,500 m²) in a former cotton factory to create a space that brings biodiversity, culture, informal education, and local resource production to a nearby community of approximately 50,000 people per year
Wanting to further deepen my expertise and skills in sustainable architecture and regenerative design, I am now seeking a role where I can co-design projects that add immense value to the community they are immersed in

HOLOBIONTE
PROJECT ARCHITECT
JANUARY 2022 - JUNE 2023
Co-designed and co-founded an oasis in the city that will generate a 400% increase in biodiversity, a 600% increase in green areas, and a 800% increase in soil for rainfall to infiltrate
Managed to design a building with an estimated 70% annual water autonomy (water is transformed into organic matter) and an estimated 85% annual energy autonomy, resulting in savings in water and energy costs
Strategically used Story of Place (Regenesis Group framework) to understand 9 key place systems (geological, hydrological, biological, human settlements, economic, cultural, psychological, and beliefs) at different bioregional and human action scales (basin, sub-basin, and micro-basin) To discover 3 patterns of interaction, resulting in the architectural master plan for the project
Planned and facilitated 10+ co-design workshops with the nearby community to understand the place in search of potential, vocation, and essence, bioclimatic strategies, recovery of materials, and comprehensive management of water and energy
MCARQUITECTOS
PROJECT ARCHITECT
NOVEMBER 2014 - JUNE 2022
Led the design, management, and construction of 28+ small and mediumscale projects (residential high-end and retail) while effectively coordinating with designers, consultants, and contractors to ensure timely delivery of highquality work that meet client expectations
Trained a team of 8 architects, streamlining the design process and enabling the simultaneous execution of more projects, which resulted in securing additional work for the firm
Spearheaded client presentations with 3D models, illustrated plans and virtual tours that helped with decision-making regarding finishes, and successfully closed projects
Problem resolution on-site, acting as the bridge between the design office and the on-site contractors, facilitating the progress of the project and ensuring compliance with delivery timelines
Developed and produced architectural and installation plans, which included design and technical detail plans required for contractors and client-facing meetings to ensure that the result is consistent with the costumer’s vision and project objectives
