How to inspect the leakage problem of spouted pouches?

As I mentioned in my pre-article, in order to control the leakage percent of spout pouch with cap below 0.3%, it is far from enough if only by the experience of machine operators (pouch making machine and spout sealing machine), they still need to depend on some testing method and equipment and increasing the frequency of sampling inspection, so, what are these method and equipment?

1-Traditional leakage testing method https://youtu.be/m1O5lXDaAYc?list=PLem0kO5x3pkaHHn-d4RwUzTraTKVwxy2M Usually, this kind of testing method is applied to the debugging phase and batch production phase of pouch making, its purpose is inspected the leakage problem when the spouted pouches encountered the external force.

(1)At the beginning of pouch making,the machine operator need to keep on debugging a best state of machine(to debug out a best pouch shape and edge sealing) before it enter the batch production phase,it need to keep a high frequency of sampling inspection(inspection/each 5 pouches) under this operation state.

(2)If the result of sampling inspection shows good,whole the pouch making process will be speeded up and still keep with this sampling inspection(inspection/each 5 pouches),when the pouch making speed up to fastest,the machine operator will keep this state for 10 mins,during this period,they will keep on adjusting the machine(in order to maintain such a good state),on the premise of no leakaging problem,the frequency of sampling inspection will be lowed down step by step,such as once per 30 pouch,once per 50 pouch,once per 100 pouch,and finally fixed the sampling inspection at this frequency(once per 100 pouch).

(1)At the beginning of spout sealing, the machine operator need to keep on debugging out a most suitable temperature for spout sealing before it enter the batch production phase, when the temperature of spout sealing is moderate, the debugging phase of spout sealing will be started, and keep a high frequency of sampling inspection (inspection/each 5 pouches) under this temperature.

(2)If the result of sampling inspection shows good,whole the spout sealing process will be speed up and still keep with this sampling inspection(inspection/each 5 pouches),during this period,the machine operator will keep on double check the embossing of spout sealing area of pouch(they must remember this embossing),on the premise of no leakaging problem,the frequency of sampling inspection will be lowed down step by step,such as once per 30 pouch,once per 50 pouch,and finally fixed the sampling inspection at this frequency.

It is worth mentioning that,the frequency of sampling inspection of leakage testing equipment and the ones of traditional leakage testing method must be staggered,in order to avoid any spouted pouches with the leakage problem was missed inspecting.

In order to control the leakage percent below 0.3%,each spout pouch suppliers should adhere to adhered to above process strictly,but the attendant pouch loss rate is also high,approx at 5%-10%(the loss rate of shaped

spout pouch is10%-15%),and these loss rate should be covered by the manufacturer,for example:you purchase 100,000 units of pouch,they need to prepare more 10%-15% of pouch in order to prepare for the loss during these testing process.
