Lush Landscape explores the convergence of tropical vibrancy and global design influence, presented in two evocative mini collections: Caliente and Fresco . Drawing on the spirit of the Feeling Free movement and the layered richness of Maximalism, this look book celebrates bold colour, intricate texture, and artisanal crafts, infused with South American warmth and the essence of its culture.
Caliente meaning hot, is a celebration of heat, energy, and saturation. The art radiates with terracotta reds, rich corals, ochres, and the deep greens of rainforest canopies. Tropical blooms burst with vitality; geometrics pulse with rhythm; and portraits glow as though lit by the last light of day. The style is confident, unabashedly vibrant, and grounded in heritage, each piece replicates artisans whose skills have been honed across generations. This is warmth you can feel, whether through lush floral details, bold animal studies, or vivaciously spirited scenes.
Fresco meaning cool and crisp, is the counterpart of Caliente , using cool tones and calm energy. Lagoon blues, eucalyptus greens, soft lilacs, and sandy neutrals create a softer, more tranquil palette. Tropical scenes become misty horizons; patterns drift into gentle abstraction; and florals take on a delicate, almost ethereal quality. Fresco captures the quiet moments of tropical life, the shade beneath palm trees, the stillness of calm water, the whisper of wind through leaves. These images offer a refreshing serenity to interior spaces, providing a calming and restorative space.
Together, Caliente and Fresco form a balanced vision of the Lush Landscape ethos; playful yet grounded, global yet deeply personal. This is a style that thrives in diversity, from abstract compositions and revitalised floral motifs, to portraits, landscapes, and animal studies. The earth-toned rainbow palette connects each work to the natural world, while varied artisan styles instil depth, history, and context to the images.
Whether you choose the heat of Caliente or the cool of Fresco , the Lush Landscape collection invites you into a world of colour and craft, of layered stories and sensory richness; a place where every wall creates the impression of a vibrant, living tapestry.

Currently the President of the Pastel Society of Great Britain, Jeannette, whose view of the world was no doubt affected by losing and later regaining her hearing as a child, has worked as an artist since graduating in Fine Art/ Painting from Kingston University in 1985.
For many years her work was representational & figurative, but the lure of the abstract grew ever stronger after a trip to Morocco in 2002, where the bright sunshine and vivid colours of North Africa inspired her to embrace a much more vivid palette in her work.
Jeannette enjoys the physicality of working with any medium, but the immediacy of layering, smudging and moving pure pigment and soft pastels is a constant source of particular joy. Her award-winning work has been exhibited extensively both throughout the U.K. and abroad.
Pedro Figari, a Uruguayan painter, lawyer, writer, and politician, is best known as a modernist painter who captures the everyday aspects of life in his work. In most of his pieces, he attempts to capture the essence of his home by painting local customs that he had observed in his childhood. By creating his own style that embodied Uruguay, he instils a sense of pride and love in his work.

Chloe was born and brought-up in the north of England. Her work is an expressive display of her feelings and emotions and she finds it acts as a cathartic release. Her images are splashed with vibrant colour and elevated by the patterns that she draws. Chloe is constantly experimenting and likes working with shape, colour and texture. She is looking to establish her own visual language and just adores the opportunity to be creative and in-tune with the contemporary world.

Lilia was born in Eastern Europe and now lives and works in England. Her paintings are in many collections around the world and her loose and free brush-work expresses her own emotive intuition. The work is anchored in figurations which are neither representational nor observational, but are explorations of feeling awoken by the artist’s search for inner meaning.
Lilia is inspired by the way nature creates endless variety without judgement on what should or should not be. Her work has been described by a leading art critic as “the ethereal beauty of Lilia’s fantastical garden-scapes is mixed with a loose Impressionist technique. Brush-marks seem to fall off the canvas. Lilia’s distinct Japanese calligraphic influence allows earthly splendour to fill the room”.
