QUESTURA DI TORINO a community center for migrant insertion
Industrial retrofitting
Questura di Torino
Location: Turin, Italy
Year: 2024
M.S.c Graduation thesis
This study presents a proposal for the renovation of the Questura. It considers, firstly, the issues that the migrant populations usually face worldwide. Then it narrows the study by showing surveys and interviews made to understand the condition of the migrants that arrive in the city and by assessing the current state of the building. After researching the normativity and international similar projects to follow, it makes a proposal adequate to the instance.

The new Questura of Turin is a complex of buildings designed for the migrant population and to promote social integration between this population and italians. Through architecture, we can offer countless opportunities to improve not only the social realm but also to provide a new building with a comprehensive program for all residents of Turin.

The restructuring of the Questura di Torino involves not only the expansion and improvement of the current Questura space. The project’s scope extends beyond constructing a dignified space; through the various tools included in the proposal, we are building a robust organization of services that will primarily benefit migrants, but not exclusively.

As part of a multidisciplinary team led by AtkinsRéalis, Urbn’ita contributed to the urban planning and design for the Soudah Peaks Development Masterplan in Saudi Arabia. This luxury mountain destination, nestled in the Asir mountains near Abha, offers a unique blend of nature, culture, and high-end experiences.
I was involved from the Conceptual Masterplan through to the Detailed Masterplan and Guidelines, shaping six distinct zones. The design emphasizes immersive access to natural landscapes, cultural heritage, and luxury accommodations, creating a serene yet adventurous retreat.

VERTICAL FARMING, Mass Production Building
Location: Turin, Italy
Year: 2022
Academic Project
The Agricultural District of Torino promotes agricultural production, research and education, taking advantage of the existing structure of the former Thysenkrupp factory.
This building will be closed with curtain walls that allow the visibility of the interior productive area, and at the same time allow maintaining a controlled environment with the optimal amount of light and temperature. The mass production modules are always located between two squares, so their function is based on connecting the public and allowing crop surveillance.
In the agricultural district there will be both a private productive use and a public use, so making production more attractive and visible was fundamental to the design of the project.

CASA RESPIRA [iso]nation: home office
Competition Entry
Year: 2020
Competition Entry
The Covid-19 has limited our mobility and the possibility of going out, the activities that were done in the city, now we have to move them to our homes. Our proposal is a living space for two people, which responds to all the needs that we have seen arise during this pandemic.
La casa [re]spira is an emergency, modular and rapidly built house. It consists of a “home office axis”, divided into three spaces:
• A main volume: open and flexible, designed to facilitate any activity the occupants may want, it is a multifunctional space that could function as a gym, a painting studio, a park or any other space if necessary.
• Two offices: each one of them composed of a work space and a terrace, built and conceived as one and the same element with the landsape.

Location: Bogotá, Colombia Year: 2020
In 2020, I participated in a project organized by the Colombian Society of Architects, which encouraged the creation of hand-drawn sketchbooks to propose tactical urbanism solutions. My sketchbook, which focused on a network connecting universities in a predominantly student area of Bogotá, was selected as the best among multiple submissions.
UNIVERSIDAD
This recognition, awarded for the best hand-drawn sketchbook, provided me with national acknowledgment on various web platforms from the Colombian Society of Architects. It affirmed my passion for urban design and highlighted my ability to effectively communicate complex ideas through sketching.

TRAZOS Y RELIEVE Organic Beauty, Digitally Refined
Bitacora
Trazos y Relieve was my creative venture where I designed decorative interior elements in wood and various types of cardboard. Inspired by minimalist interior design trends and natural textures and silhouettes, I transformed these concepts into digital graphics. Using advanced laser-cutting technology, I crafted unique pieces that celebrated the beauty of nature. Through this endeavor, I blended artistry and craftsmanship, selling my creations online and sharing my passion for natural forms with a wider audience.
