joyfully sweet “It was the color of someone buying you an ice cream cone for no reason at all.” — Lemony Snicket An ice cream shop is a place of wonder. Brightly lit cases of mint, peach, cream, and sunny hues of every flavor, the aroma of churned milk, and the sweet array of toppings are like a celebration of all the good things in life. All the good things like laughter and hugs, family and friends, hope and delight, a sense of belonging and peace … we’ve infused that spirit into this new mini collection, Confections.
Playful, bold colours with simple construction are at the core of these four designs. Hints of texture and versatile silhouettes sized from tiny babes on up to adults promise something for just about everyone. The yarn becomes the ice cream shop with the beautiful personalization it offers. Modeled by the delightful kids from our own studio family, these pieces can’t get any sweeter! A little bit of colour in a fun, top-down construction makes for a pairing nearly as perfect as cream and sugar, especially when knit in our Flaxen Silk DK. Sized for the whole family, this pullover is a great intro to sweater knitting for year-round, beautiful wear.

As the Design Director for SweetGeorgia Yarns, her days (and heart) are filled to the brim with knitting, art, writing, editing, planning, and finding ways to put it all together.
