into the deep Summer fades and the cool depth of fall settles upon the horizon. Beneath the leaves blanketing the ground stirs a richness that matches the rhythm within me. Down there, where summer’s bounty has retreated into the dark, as though sinking into the deep, is a slower kind of activity. One of renewal. Change. Cultivation. Transformation. I am compelled to go gently, to make softly and slowly. Letting the stitches teach me new ways of doing as much as the fibres teach me soft ways of living. Like the way the fallen leaves teach us to surrender to the change ahead.
Everything about this new collection speaks to that concept of yielding. From the dark hues of amber and ochre, azure and cobalt, wine and plum to the cozy silhouettes and subtle textures, the pieces featured in these pages are everything needed for a cathartic, nurturing crochet season.
