The Autumn season at the market welcomes our pear, persimmon and feijoa growers. Two local pear growers, will be at the market Traceys Pears from Otaki from the end of February with nashi and comice and The Sugar Pear Co from early April from Whanganui.

Come and taste the difference with their tree ripened fruit direct to the market from the orchard! Pear and chocolate are a perfect marriage. Try this delicious Chocolate Pear Cake from market manager Steph Strahan's kitchen. "The contrast between the dark chocolate sponge and the whiteness of the pear creates a stunning cake that is also super yummy!"
