FROM THE DESK OF THE SCHOOL HEAD BELIEVE YOURSELF

The time of examination is always a crucial time for all the children. All the hard work they put it brings colours in their life. A simple rule to be followed by everyone is, not to be nervous and not be scared. As Swami Vivekananda said, “ 'Have faith in yourself first', that's the way. Have faith in yourself — all power is in you — be conscious and bring it out. Say, 'I can do everything.' 'Even the poison of a snake is powerless if you can firmly deny it.” Rise above any iota of negativity or self-doubt. The Board examinations mark not an end but a new beginning for the students! The

students appearing for the board exams will now make some of the most important choices, which will impact their future. I am sure you will make wise choices, keeping in mind your talents as well as interests. Keep a positive attitude. Just stay confident and concentrate. Give it your best and success shall be yours. An exam is not only a test of your academic knowledge, it is a test of your calmness, stability and positive attitude

SELF CONFIDENCE

Self aplomb refers to the state of mind where a person pushes their boundaries and encourages belief within oneself It is something which comes from self-love. In order to have confidence in yourself, one must love oneself to get freedom from constant doubt. It won’t be far-fetched to say that self-aplomb is the key to success. If not, it is definitely the first step towards success. When a person has self-confidence, they are halfway through their battle. People in school and workplaces achieve success by taking more initiatives and being more forward and active in life. Moreover, they tend to make better decisions because of having confidence in oneself Thus, it makes them stand out of the crowd. When you stand apart, people will definitely notice you. Thus, it

increases your chances of attaining success in life. Alternatively, if there is a person who does not trust or believe in himself, it will be tough. They will find it hard to achieve success because they will be exposed to failure as well as criticism. Thus, without self-confidence, they may not get back on their feet as fast as someone who possesses self-confidence. In addition to gaining success, one also enjoys a variety of perks as well. For instance, you can find a job more easily. Similarly, you may find the magnitude

a difficult job lesser than it is.

FEating healthy food that gives you energy is essential. Don't be tempted to eat junk food. As you all prepare for exams, here are a few tips for your exams.

How to improve my child's retention and recall power?

By giving the child a chance to process information through sight, sound, touch, and movement, she can achieve better memory retention of any concept.

How can I help my child communicate better?

Practise conversations with the child. Read a book with the child and teach her how to play conversational "catch".

·

FFind a comfortable place with plenty of light when you study. But not 'too' comfortable, or you'll fall asleep!

FTry and keep a positive mindset. It is easier to study when you are relaxed. If you are feeling anxious, have a little break. Go out for a stroll around the block.

FThe most important tip is “Reduce Screen Time...”

THE COUNTRY WITHOUT CRIMES

On the occasion of Republic Day, I wish that Gandhiji's dream would come true. A country without crime would be a stairway to heaven, i.e., no violence, no murder, no more corruption. Everyone would be blissful and enjoy their lives together without any evil thoughts. Let people always think about the others' welfare and let them not be self-centred. Let the country be free of crime and corruption. Let purity resides in their thoughts and hearts. Let them be divine. Let us not have any conflict amongst ourselves and let us celebrate unity in

diversity. Let the countries share their own resources with each other and let us remember universal brotherhood. Well, we should make it, instead of just speaking about it. For the future world and the future citizens, we shall strive to work towards a peaceful country and a universal brotherhood.

DEVELOPING CORE VALUES: Every school has its own culture, shared values and expectations for students and staff for a productive learning and teaching environment. Core values help to communicate the school's story – its mission, standards and desired outcomes. Establishing those ideals provides the foundation for building the type of atmosphere to foster These standards also offer a way of thinking about which educational philosophies or initiatives the school supports. Wellestablished core values can help to strengthen the school community However,

implementing and prioritising what those should be, can be a challenge. Incorporating character education to encourage students to develop a deeper understanding of humanity is the need of the hour Let's apply the 3H Approach. Teaching the Head, Guiding the Hand, and Touching the Heart – which should be rooted in education, using literature, current events and ordinary circumstances to teach sympathy and empathy

ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE IN EDUCATION

Being parents of “STAR STUDENT”, what is your inner feeling about The Creek Planet School?

We are feeling good about the school for support, care and encouragement of students in various activities. Particularly we like the environment of the school.

On a rating scale of 1 to 10 where 10 is the highest, what rating will you give to school's staff and management for development of your child?

I appreciate the work of the school staff working patiently to make the child understand the topics. I think I can give 9/10 rating for the school as they support for the overall development of the child.

How well do you think the school caters to your child's learning needs?

For the lower grades the current curriculum is fine, but from 8th grade onwards they need to focus more on critical thinking and olympiad examinations like IMO,IEO,& NSTSE.

Artificial intelligence (AI) refers to the ability of a digital computer or computercontrolled robot to perform tasks commonly associated with intelligent beings. Artificial intelligence (AI) is a wide-ranging branch of computer science concerned with building smart machines capable of performing tasks that typically require human intelligence. The goal of AI is to provide software that can reason on input and explain on output. Its an interdisciplinary science with multiple approaches, but advancements in machine learning and deep learning are creating a paradigm shift in virtually every sector of the tech industry Artificial intelligence allows machines to model, and even improves upon, the capabilities of the human mind. From the development of self-driving cars to the proliferation of smart assistants like Siri and Alexa, AI is a growing part of everyday life.. It is probably the fastestgrowing development in the World of technology and innovation.

THE ART AND RITUAL OF RANGOLI

Rangoli competitions are one of the most popular activities during festivals. Rangoli is one of the most beautiful and pleasing art forms in India which makes the atmosphere around pure and summons the particular deity during the festivals. It is a part of floor decoration and an expression of the creative self, often viewed as a form of self-portraiture. Rangoli is a traditional form of welcoming good luck. The emergence of this creative art can be attributed to some mythological literature works. Rangoli is a very popular folk art that has several connotations across India. It is an art form in India in which patterns are created on the floor in living rooms or

courtyards using materials such as coloured rice, dry flour, coloured sand or flower petals. It is a spiritual distribution of colours Most of the rangoli designs maintain symmetry, like a yin and yang symbol or a swastika. 3 D'S OF SUCCESS

Determination, Dedication and Discipline with right goals is the key for the success.

When chances are against, sheer determination to endure, helps in succeeding and achieving the goal. Dedication is a quality that we should have to oversee our objective and it is the key to success in life. Discipline is simply the capacity to

persuade positive characteristics and is an absolute and significant reason in arriving at our goals. Embracing 3 D's will help in making our life meaningful and successful. But as the saying goes 'Success is not final and Failure is not fatal :it is the courage to continue that counts' Be optimistic, keep believing in your inner strengths and have the courage to try it again with a different approach.

RAISING A SELF-CONFIDENT CHILD!

We have almost reached the end of the Academic year, and children have started revising the concepts for the Annual examinations, which are around the corner. Maintaining a positive attitude towards assessments and regularly revising is crucial for academic and personal success. A positive outlook helps reduce assessment stress and anxiety, while regular revision ensures that the knowledge is retained and appropriately understood. Parents and teachers play a vital role in motivating children during exams by creating a supportive and encouraging

environment and establishing a healthy study routine. They can help children develop a growth mindset by focusing on effort and progress rather than grades and scores. As educators and parents, it's our responsibility to help children build self-esteem by providing them with opportunities to succeed, acknowledging their strengths and accomplishments, and encouraging them to embrace their individuality Children can achieve their full potential if they are encouraged to believe in their worth and ability.

What has been your experience in this class regarding your children's academics?

As a parent, I have been delighted with my children's progress in this class. They have improved their critical thinking skills, and their confidence in their abilities has grown significantly The teacher has been highly engaged and proactive in fostering a positive learning environment. I appreciate the teacher's frequent updates and open communication, which gives me peace of mind knowing my children are in good hands."

How can the school support your child's overall learning and development?

At SEEDS MARS,my children are well supported in their academic journey. For us, rather than performance, the focus is on what and how children are learning. Interactive learning activities that engage students and build their sense of accomplishment can be included.

HAPPY CLASS ROOM

When an educator with an optimistic mindset takes a challenge to make the class vibrant and cheerful, we have a happy classroom filled with a good environment and positive vibes. A teacher should always carry a grin, know about every detail of the child, and understand and be affectionate. Teachers should always appreciate children's work by awarding a star, smiley, or high 5, which creates a sense of accomplishment among the students. A classroom should be a comfortable zone where children can talk without hesitation. My Nursery classroom is a happy classroom where children feel good and comfortable, which leads to good learning.

MY FAVOURITE FESTIVAL – PONGAL

Pongal is one of the most significant harvest festivals of Hindus. It is celebrated for three days in January in many states, with different activities based on each day The first day is “Bhogi”, where lord Indra is worshipped. The second day is “Thai Pongal”, related to the Sun's transition. A special dish which is also my favourite, called sweet Pongal, is prepared. On the third day, Mattu Pongal or Kanuma is dedicated to cattle for their efforts to bring prosperity. Tips To Improve Your Child's Performance in School

How comfortable is your child with the classroom environment?

My daughter loves her school Glad to express, classrooms are more spacious with good ambience. The classrooms were well arranged with good ventilation, which made my child more excited and comfortable.

How happy are you with her schooling?

Finally, we are happy with her schooling. Compared to the previous campus, we are pleased with the present school atmosphere in terms of infrastructure, teaching classes, guidance by mentors, and teacher's responsibilities. We are expecting the same endeavour upfront.

Children during assessments tend to study for long hours, miss sleep and remain inactive during exams. This takes a toll on their health! Just make your child understand that conducting exams is an ongoing process. Lack of iron in the diet results in anaemia that causes poor concentration and fatigue. Hence, incorporate enough iron in the diet in the form of green leafy vegetables. Almonds are considered brain food, boost alertness and preserve memory Give your child 5 to 6 soaked almonds every day To improve your child's focus, the child must drink 2-3 litres of water daily. Water gives the brain the required energy for all brain functions, including thought and memory processes.

On the day of Kanuma, we went to a big temple Sri Subrahmanyeswara Swamy temple. I fed the cows with grass, banana, and jaggery. I immensely enjoyed my Sankranthi trip.
