Getting In Touch With An Inmate At The Ottawa-Carleton Detention Centre

Ottawa-Carleton Detention Centre is a correctional facility for men and women. Ottawa-Carleton Detention Centre (OCDC) is opened in 1972. This center accommodates almost 575 offenders. The jail is for both males and females who are provincial offenders on remand and serving a provincial sentence. To give or to send a message to an inmate, then you need to call and then leave a message that includes the inmate's name, your name and a phone number the inmate can call you.

Visiting Hours In An Ottawa-Carleton Detention Centre (OCDC) All visits must be scheduled at least 24 hours in advance. Call Monday through Friday at 613-824-6080 and dial 0 to speak with an operator to arrange an appointment. To book a visit, you must be on the inmate's visiting list. You must be there at least 15 minutes before your planned visit. For a visit, only two people are allowed in the visiting room at a time. Every week, inmates will have two visits of 20 minutes.
