Registration and payment must be completed by January 9, 2022. DISCOUNTS • 5% family discount (inquire at the school office) for all language courses. • 5% referral discount for each referring student as well the new student (inquire at the school office) for all the language courses. Returned checks: a $50 fee will be charged. REFUNDS – only in the event that: • The class is full at the time your registration is received. • The class is cancelled due to insufficient enrollment (a minimum of 8 students/class is required).

NOZZE PER I BASTARDI DI PIZZOFALCONE by M. DE Giovanni During this session, we will be revisiting “I Bastardi di Pizzofalcone” in another selection by Maurizio de Giovanni called “Nozze”. We return to Naples, where a young woman is found stabbed in a grotto on what should have been one of the happiest days of her life. In addition to reading the book, students will complete grammar and syntax exercises. Of special interest are some secret papers written in the style of XVI Century Italian. The class will discuss the book and students will present research proposed by the teacher. “IL MERCANTE DI LIBRI MALEDETTI” by Marcello Simoni Ignazio da Toledo, a merchant of relics, is called to Venice to find a very rare manuscript entitled “Uter ventorum”. It was said, that this book had the power to evoke the angels. While Ignazio is searching for the secret code, some murders occur. The class will discuss the book and students will present research proposed by the teacher. ITALIAN CERAMIC ARTIST WORKSHOP Students will be introduced to the art of Italian ceramics. The course will present the aesthetic and technical aspects of ceramic process. Studio sessions cover sculpting, decorating and glazing skills. Instructor: Maestro Roberto Paolinelli.

About the Instructor: Maestro Roberto Paolinelli is a contemporary Italian master who was born and raised in Pescara and employs Renaissance classical design in his work. His pieces are exhibited in galleries across Italy. Maestro Roberto Paolinelli has been active in Washington, DC since 1994, and has won the Vincenzo Palumbo Artisan Award.
