The rehabilitation project of the Capitol Theatre is proposes to amend the current hall, to adapt the space and equipment to a modern auditorium with acoustics and a new stage area. The original building was expanded with a new backstage. The project maintains the main point of entry through the centre of the facade, making appropriate adjustments for better accessibility to the building. The metal facade of the new block is conceived as a curtain that hangs over the main glass doors that give access to the building’s hall. El proyecto de rehabilitación del Teatro Capito de Cieza propone una modificación de la actual sala del teatro con un nuevo equipamiento, características acústicas estudiadas y un nuevo escenario dotado de los más avanzados medios técnicos. La entrada por el centro de la fachada del edificio original da acceso a la nueva segunda sala del edificio, con los necesarios ajustes para mejorara la accesibilidad. La fachada correspondiente al nuevo bloque construido se concibe como un telón teatral que desciende delante de la nueva fachada de cristal del vestíbulo. 94
